Chapter 5: Family Reunion

yThe next morning I woke up and found myself wrapped up in a pair of strong arms that sent sparks through me. I smiled and snuggled into the arms of my mate. A deep purr of satisfaction  came from Paxton. 

"Madainn mhath team mo bheatha." (Good morning love of my life). He said. 

I turned over and kissed him gently on the cheek. "Good morning handsome mate." His eyes darkened with lust and I can feel his arousal pressing against me. "Really? All I said was good morning."

"You are too sexy for me to not want to take you at any given moment." He said smugly and tipping my chin upwards to plant a kiss on my mouth. 

Suddenly there was banging on the door. I groaned as he growled out, "Who is it?!" 

"Uh, Your best friend and brother in law!" Colton's voice rang out. 

"What is it?! We are kinda of busy!" Paxton said. I groaned and hid my face. 

"REALLY!?" I whispered / screamed at him. 

He smirked down at me. 

"First off, ew! Second off, you may not want to say that when you parents in laws are coming over today and are almost here today." Colton said and I could hear the smug in his voice.

"WHAT!?" I yelled.

"Can I come in, this is getting frustrating."

Paxton let him come in and he quickly came in and shut the door. "Mom just called. Apparently everyone has heard about you being Paxton's mate so they are coming to meet him. Although I don't know if they know what happened at our old pack so be prepared for that." 

I groaned and leaned my forehead against Paxton's chest. I could feel him tense up about what happened. 

"Thanks Colton." He nodded and headed out of the room, closing the door behind him. 

I looked up at Paxton who was in deep thought. I leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. "What are you thinking about?" I asked. 

"Nothing you need to worry about, love." 

I frowned at him. "Please. I am your Luna, I should know." 

After a moment he spoke. "After talking to my brother it seems that Kendrick is on the wanted list but he slips through every time they get close to him."

I gulped as fear went through my body. Paxton must of sensed it because his wolf growled out and whimpered at my discomfort. 

I tightened my grip on him. "I'm scared." 

"Don't you worry. I will never let you go now that I had you in my arms my dearest love." 

My cheeks heated up at his words. I snuggled my head into the crook of his neck. "We should probably get up and get ready for my parents." I said. 

He nodded in agreement. We got up and I went to the bathroom and changed into a pair of leggings and a tank top. 

I came out of the bathroom and heard a deep growl. In seconds I was pushed against the wall with a pairs of arms pinning my waist against it. 

Paxton's eyes were dilated and full of lust. "Please, for my sanity grab one of my sweatshirts and cover up." 

I laughed as he fixed his pants and went and grabbed an old hockey sweatshirt he had. "This better babe?" I said. 

"Much." He said pulling me to his side as we walked out of the room. We passed by some guards and housekeepers who bowed their heads as a sign of respect. It felt a little weird since I was used to only having soldiers do that to me.
