I woke up in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm. I looked around dazed and confused. "Paxton?" I called out for my mate.
Suddenly he was right next to me with a worried look. "Are you ok? Do you need anything? I can get you food, or water or-"
"Paxton! I'm fine. Why are you so worried?"
He scratched the back of his neck. "I don't know how to say this. Um, you're pregnant."
PREGNANT! "Are you positive?!" I asked astonished.
He nodded. I burst out into tears of joy. I had always wanted to be a mother to my pups. Always wanted to have pups with my mate.
However, Paxton mistook my joyful tears as sad ones. "Oh, no! I'm so sorry! I don't want to upset you. Fuck! I'm a horrible mate!"
My wolf whined thinking we upset our mate. "No Paxton. These are tears of joy. I'm so excited for our little pup to be born!"
"Well, make that pups."
"Plural?! How many???"
"Four"
My eyes widened. Holy shit! I was having a fucking litter.
He chuckled at my reaction. I sat on the edge of the bed and hugged me close to him. I put my hand over my stomach. "I'll go talk to the doctor and set up some appointments. How does that sound?"
I just simply nodded and smiled up at him. Colton was going to be excited. He has always wanted to be an uncle and now he gets his big moment. I knew my parents were going to be over the moon about becoming grandparents.
Paxton came back in. "The doctor is going to do the last check up and then we can go home where you are going to rest."
I rolled my eyes and smiled up at him. "I wonder what the genders will be."'
"Please no girls." He said making prayer hands and looking up at the ceiling as if he was praying to the moon goddess above.
"And why not?" I said crossing my arms.
"Becuase I know they would make me soft. Just like you do, my dear mate." He said winking at me.
"Well if we have any boys, they are gonna be mama's boys for sure." He laughed and the doctor came in to do the checkup.
As soon as he signed the papers, I was released. We got in the car and Paxton drove us home. "So what did you do with the slut who attacked me?"
"She's in the prison at the moment and we are going to have her trial soon," Paxton said.
I nodded. I never wanted to see her face again. My phone started to ring and I saw it was my parents.
"Hello?"
"Oh, thank goddess above my baby is ok." I heard my mom's voice say.
I chuckled. "I'm fine mom. In fact, you have good timing. Paxton and I have some exciting news."
"Let me hear it! You're on speaker and your father is here."
"Ok, well in about five months we will be having some new additions to the family!"
There was screaming and crying on the other end. "Oh! We are going to be grandparents!!!"
After talking to them for a bit, we pulled up to the house and found Colton running towards me. He picked me up and twirled me around. "Is it true!? Am I going to be an uncle?!"
I laughed and yelled, "Yes!"
He shouted and cheered and then hugged Paxton.
Paxton picked me up and carried me up to our room and laid me down. He looked around the room in thought.
"what is it?" I asked.
"I think we need an upgrade. With the pups coming up soon and all." I hadn't even thought about that yet. I looked around and as big as the room was, we couldn't raise a family in here.
"I have a house about ten minutes away that was built for the Alpha family to live when there was no room here. We could live there." I nodded my head.
"I think that's a great idea."
He smiled and climbed in bed next to me and pulled me close. I snuggled my face into his chest. I could stay like this forever.

A week later was the trial. I had been getting morning sickness and had a hard time keeping anything down. Paxton often worked form the house instead of going to the pack house to keep an eye on me.
We had moved in almost immediately. I loved the house. It was big, beautiful and homey.

It was the perfect place to raise a large family. Each night Paxton would come home early and cook me dinner and then cuddle up with me in bed.
"BABE! Are you ready?" Paxton called out.
I straightened out my sundress and walked out. He turned and hugged me to his chest. "You sure you're ok to go?"
"Paxton, they need my testimony. I have to go."
"I know but I'm alpha. I could just kill her now."
I rolled my eyes and we got in the car and went off to where the trial was being held. Here we go.
