Chapter 2

Michael's POV

  "Mom!" I yelled, getting out of the shower.

 

  "Yes, sweetie?"

  "Can you get me a towel?"

  "Fine, but you have to remember to get one on your way next time!" She said sternly, handing me the towel.

  "Thanks." I said, wrapping it around my body.

  After I got dressed and ate breakfast (toast and Vegemite), I grabbed my backpack and got in my moms car, waiting for her to drive me to school.

  As I waited my thoughts drifted to Luke. Sure, I'm gay and he's hot, but he hates me so I feel like I'm forced to hate him. Even though he's a sexy beast and I wouldn't mind going over to him and ripping all of his clothes off and sl- . My thoughts were cut off by my mom slamming the car door.

  "I can't wait for you to have your own car, so I don't have to get up early driving you to a club." My mom mumbled as she buckled her seatbelt.

  "Love you, mom." I said, smiling at her.

  "Yeah yeah love you too. Now why can't you take the bus?"

  I groaned, "Mom, we went over this!"

  "I know. But why do you want to be in this club so bad?"

  "Because." I grumbled, sinking in my seat.

  "Fine! Let's go."

  When we arrived at school I hopped out of the car as fast as I could, not wanting to hear anymore reasons not to have sex.

  "Bye, mom! Love you!" I said running inside.

  I got to the computer lab, and started designing my own songs and video games. After about 40 minutes, I looked at the time and got up as fast as possible, asking the teacher to sign me a pass. I ran down the hall to my locker, grabbed all my stuff for first period, and ran to my class. As soon as I got there the bell rang. I opened the door to see all eyes on me. I shifted uncomfortably and turned to Mrs. Jackson.

  "I'm so sorry Mrs. Jackson! I have a pass."

  "It's fine Michael, just try not to be late again." She said, taking my pass.

  I went up to my seat and sat down next to Luke.

  "Did I miss anything?" I whispered to him, because Mrs. Jackson sometimes starts early.

  When I didn't get a reply I frowned and looked down, since I knew he had heard me.

  "Ok class!" Mrs. Jackson smiled. "We're going to have a really easy project! It's fun and creative and you all should love it! But this one is a bit different! You won't have time to do this in class and it will be an at home assignment! And you'll have partners!"

  I was really excited because I love working with Calum!

  "Ok so your going to find a candy that you both enjoy."

  I swore under my breath. I hate candy. At least Calum already knows, so there will be no awkwardness of telling my partner that.

  "And your going to change the name to something that mixes both of your names. But I will chose your partners for you! Sorry!" With that the whole class groaned, she better pair me up with Calum!

  "Ok, Calum and Jake!" I groaned, I have no other friends! "Ashley and Felix. Jenna and Connor. Cali and Nicolle. Luke and"
