I like to look my Prey in the eyes...

Mariko took a deep breath as she stood on the edge of the Empire State Building rooftop. Instead of feeling any sort of worry or fear, the woman grinned as she took in the distance from her and the hard ground below. Next to her a certain web slinging hero crouched next to her standing form.

"Are you sure about this? I know you are but what if you miss? Then I'll only have one web shooter to save you."

"If I wasn't sure then why are we here?"

"Because you're an adrenaline junkie who can't quit your risky lifestyle?"

"Kid, you're way to young to be thinking about death."

"I'm twenty-two, you can't be that much older than me." He scoffed. She smirked at his unmasked face(A/N: Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man). He frowned at her obvious smugness, "How old are you?"

"Now you should never ask a lady that."

"Then good think you aren't a lady." He said with a cheeky grin.

Mariko accidently hit him harder than she mean to on the back of his head. The poor man flew forward and off the building but she didn't panic as she watched him fall. Finally he got his hand on the glass and crawled back up to her. She sent him a toothy grin that caused one of her fangs to slip from behind her lip,

"How was your flight?"

"Just fantastic, I love it when I nearly shit myself." He responded with an eyeroll.

"Sorry to ruin your bonding moment, but the Stealth Helicopter is going to be right above you in the fastest five minutes possible." Rosa said in her ear.

"Copy that, and are you absolutely sure this is the correct chopper?"

"Yes." Rosa replied without any hesitation, "It holds a shipment of Vibrainium, and a few radioactive materials. Which makes one wonder what they need that for?" The girl suggested.

Mariko nodded, even though the girl couldn't see her, "I'll look into it, the more information the better. Always remember that."

"Copy. You have ten seconds before your window opens."

Mariko didn't respond as she and Peter got ready. She rolled her wrist experimentally, testing out the new piece of equipment. It felt strange but it wasn't anything that she couldn't adjust to. Peter had already given her a crash course on how to use it, but she still wanted him to be prepared to catch her if anything went wrong. Just as they started to hear the faint whirring of the blades, Peter's phone rang.

"Where the hell was that?" Mariko asked, disgust clear on her face as he put the phone to his ear.

"Mister Stark I'm kind of busy right now."

"Peter..." Mariko warned. She could see the outline of the helicopter.

"No, no I really can't stop what I'm doing."

"Peter." The chopper got closer,

"What! No I'm just outside of patrol."

"PETER!" It was now passing overhead,

"Ya know what? Fine! I'll be there in five!"

Suddenly the two jumped, shooting out their webs simultaneously. Both were lucky to latch onto the bottom and climbed up until they could comfortably hold onto the landing gear. Mariko didn't question why Peter decided to hitch a ride, especially while they were hanging onto a helicopter. Slowly the aircraft landed, but before it did Mariko landed on the ground in a crouch and slipped into cover with Peter not far behind her. The layout of the building entered her mind as she led them into a hallway to their right. The upper levels were less guarded due to the fact nobody should be able to get past the guards below. Unless an infiltrator(like them) did something crazy like they had.
