"Anari don't do that !"My dad scolded me as I yanked his hair with the comb.

"But its nappy daddy"I pouted

"Let me fix it for you"Young Aj grabbed one of his dread locks and started twisting it . She was so heavy handed her dad scolded her again .

"Anari Lee do not play like yo stuff ain't nappy"He tossed her in the air and she giggled loudly .

"When I get older imma do your hair all the time daddy"She grabbed his face and kissed him .

"Okay baby I'll appreciate that"He smiled up at her .

"King ?! I know you here "Her dad froze .

He rushed to his closet . "Let's play a game baby "He whispered

"Hide and seek ?!"She asked excitedly .

"Shh you gotta be really quiet okay "He said and she nodded . Aj balled up in the back of the closet by the look on her dads face she felt like something was wrong .

She heard a loud boom sound and jumped .

"Daddy where are you going ?"She started to cry .

"I love you baby girl"He kissed her forehead .

"I love you too daddy"He shut the door and walked out his room .

Aj got up and tiptoed to her fathers bedroom door . She didn't see anybody so she quietly stepped out and squatted at the top of the stairs .

"Kanine I thought yo-" The big man dressed in all black cut her father off and shot him twice in his head making him fall and blood gush out .

"Daddy "Aj covered her mouth as tears streamed down her face .

She made her way back in her fathers room and closed the door . She got his phone and ran back in the closet when she heard heavy footsteps .

She waited till the voices disappeared and she unlocked her fathers phone , went to his contacts and pressed EMERGENCY 🚨.

She remembered her father telling her what to do if anything bad ever happened .

EMERGENCY 🚨: Hello ?
Aj: Who is this ?
EMERGENCY 🚨: Kayshi , who is this ? And what are you doing with my brothers phone ?
Aj: My daddy is King Lee, he told me we were playing hide and seek and I went to check on him and a big scary man shoot him and he was bleeding .
EMERGENCY 🚨: Anari ?
Aj: How do you know my name ?
EMERGENCY 🚨: Oh my god im on my way stay where you are alright ?
Aj: Okay, can you please stay on the phone im scared
EMERGENCY 🚨: Ok
