Annabeth woke up with a fright.

She had dreamed of Percy being torchered by - what were they? Gorgons? - and Annabeth was screaming beside him, but her scream was silent.

Then a hippie came and made Percy carry her on his back. Percy was struggling under her weight. Annabeth tried to help, but her hands went straight through them.

Soon Percy got to an archway with two kids, one had a bow and teh other was leading Percy through the archway. When Annabeth tried to go through, the image went blurred.

She woke up adn ran to the Poseidon cabin without even changing her close. She quietly went in, in case Percy was still sleeping.

Someone was sleeping, but it wasn't Percy. Tyson was sleeping in the bed next to Percy's.

Percy's be was made, so Annabeth had a pretty good clue he wasn't there. Percy never made his bed, not even when the Aphrodite cabin did the inspecting.

"Tyson!" Annabeth said. He didn't wake up so Annabeth had to roll him of of his bed.

"OW!" he said, "Annabeth! Where brother?!"

"tyson, Percy is not here. I have a feeling he left camp."

Tyson's lip quivered when he heard that. "No brother?"

"Tyson, let's take a trip to teh Big House to see Chiron so we can ask if Percy's there." Annabeth tried to help Tyson up, but he was to heavy. He got up by himself, though.

"Yay! Pony!" Tyson said when he realized where they were going. Chiron was on the porch.

"Annabeth, aren't you supposed to be at Mount Olympus by now?" He asked.

"Chiron," Annabeth said, looking down, "Percy's missing. Unless he's pulling a really good prank, he's not here. We looked around a bit, so maybe he is here, I don't know."

There was a long pause. "Let's call his mother, she might know where Percy is."

Thye dialed the number anf heard Mrs. Jackson's voice on the other end.

"Hello, Mrs. Jackson," Annabeth said.

"Well, what a surprise Annabeth!" she said, "Is Percy all right?"

"So, he didn't go home?" Annabeth asked.

"What do you mean? Percy isn't here."

Annabeth explained the situation. She figured Percy's mom dropped the phone, because the connection was lost.

"Annabeth, we will keep looking," Tyson said. Annabeth figured that was the best sentence he had ever said.

"Assemble the campers," Annnabeth said, "We have a meeting ahead of us."

All of teh campers got together in teh mess hall. Annabeth got in front of the crowd with Grover, Tyson, and Chiron. Rachel wasn't there, she was on her way.

"Everyone!" Annabeth said, "I have some bad news. First, has anyone seen Percy ssince last night?" No one seemed to have seen Percy. "Well, that's because Percy is missing."

"Woah, what now?" Grover said. Annabeth had forgotten to tell Grover. Oops.

"We will have a search party for him. If anyone would like to join, feel free."

Drew stood up immediately. "Oh, poor Percy. But, if everyone goes out looking for him, and he finds his way back here, than wouldn't he just go back out to the world?"

She had a point.

"Okay, we will send three groups of three at a time. Tyson, you go with Mrs. O'Leary. The others we will figure out later."

###

Annabeth had been searching camp for two days. On teh third day, she had a dream leading her to where Percy might be.

She had to talk Will into giving her the flying chariot, took Blackjack and one of his friends, chose Butch to go with her, and headed for the Grand Canyon.

She didn't find Percy, but she did find three demigods, one who looked like a friend, but she couldn't place which one...
