The Start of It All

This is the Battle of the Labyrinth scene when Annabeth kisses Percy - the start of Percabeth. It's on page 203 of the book, just to let you know :).

Sorry it's short, but I wanted to make this. It was so fun to make!

His sea-green eyes. They're so addicting. I could look in them all day.

"Stay safe, Seaweed Brain," I told him. Punch him, I thought, Do it, before he leaves. I gazed at him, and did the unexpected.

I kissed him.

Idiot. Idiot. He'll never talk to me again!

Oh well, it was worth it. If he does live, I will be able to make more moves in the future. If he dies, I know I will have done what I had wanted to do since he came in and was drooling in the hospital.

I made my way through the Labyrinth. I found Tyson and Grover, and explained. They wanted to stay down there, keep searching for Pan.

When I came up, I flinched at the sun. I hadn't realized how dark it was in the Labyrinth. I immediately went to Chiron.

I started crying on my way there, knowing the odds of Percy getting out weren't that great. I didn't even notice Chiron standing - in horse from - and I almost ran into him.

"Annabeth," He said, "Where are the others?"

I looked up into his eyes, "Percy's- Percy's- Percy's- dead." I finally got myself to say dead. My best friend just died.

His body will be forever in the Labyrinth. Never to see the light.

I never believed he was dead, but I was surprised when he showed up two weeks later in all white clothes.
