Summer Lovin ~ Sweet Pea

alright guys, I cut it short because now that I know what im gonna do with this series, its only gonna have but a few more chapters. okay? so dont be mad. I will make it up to you, I promise.

they had been, "dating" for a little over a month. but y/n hesitated to even call it a dating. they were just meeting up either at early hours in the bright morning, or late hours in the dark night, but it was very exciting for her. and exciting for sweet pea. for the first time in their lives, they had something to look forward too. not something to dread.

it was four in the morning when sweet pea called her, he couldnt sleep and he had so much on his mind. "y/n, what do you say we go away this weekend?" he asked, y/n was still half asleep, but she felt herself smile. "go away? where the hell to?" she said, her voice deep and scratchy. if sweet pea didnt know who he was talking to, she could easily be mistaken for a man just by listening to her talk in this state.

"we could, go any where ya like. we could go to the city if you want, I haunt been there in a long time, we could go to jersey, or we could go to Canada, anywhere you want to." she rubbed her eyes, and yawned. "uhh, sure. why not?" she responded, and sweet pea muttered a yes!

"when do you want to leave?" she asked, "dawn. thats in an hour and a half. oh and, if you think you can get Bettys car, that would be amazing. I dont want to travel to the city on a motorcycle." he responded, dragging on the last bit. "so were goin to the city huh?" she asked, with sort of a huff at the end. "yeah, I could use a good ol' new york city hot dog. and maybe you could show me around, since your a big city girl."  she giggled at his words, "I know a great pizza place. its in Brooklyn."

they spent the rest of the hour talking, but then sweet pea hung up, to start walking towards pops where they would meet up. she didnt like the idea of him walking across town by himself, but he insisted that he would be okay.

she pulled aside the curb, and unlocked the door, "hey tiger, how much?" she joked, and he rolled his eyes, "mm, just a kiss baby girl." she smiled, and leaned over to kiss hip lovingly.

"to the city?" she asked, "to the city."

sweet peas head rested in her lap as she drove the familiar route towards her home, of Manhattan, New York. the scenery was so beautiful, the only sounds she heard was the air conditioner, the wind passing by the car, and sweet peas occasional snores.

you woke him up once you started to cross the bridge, and he groaned, saying that he needed five more minutes, which made you giggle. "seriously pea, you are going to miss the most beautiful view ever!" you say, he opens his eyes and grins, "but baby, I already have one"

you playfully pat his stomach, he smiles and then raises up. "wow, this really is something." he says, he pulls out his phone to take a picture, and sends it to Toni and fangs. "I told you, I used to love watching the sunsets, I would to to the very top of my apartment building, and my boyfriend would sneak up there too, because he lived a floor below me. we would watch the sunsets. it was great."

he didnt hear anything after you had said boyfriend and Shawn in the same sentence. "Shawn?" he asks, "oh, he used to bey boyfriend." "used to be as in..." he asks, raising his eyebrows hoping to pull the answer out of you. "used to be, as in we broke up and I never spoke to him again."

he nodded and laced your fingers together. you were well aware of peas possessive nature. there had been a couple incidents where he has shown his angry side. he tries his bet to contain it around you. but he just cant help himself when a northsider, especially a bulldog, starts to make moves on you.

"well you dont have to worry pea, shawn is long gone." you kissed the back of his hand and smiled against his skin.

"what d'ya say, you hungry?"
