Joker holds Harley tightly in his arms running his hand through her hair while she sleeps. All of a sudden, Harley starts to scream and thrash around.
"No! Don't do that!! Please... NO... NO... NO!"
Joker wakes her up and she rolls over and buries her head into his chest while she cries. Joker holds her tightly while she sobs. Its not often that Joker takes care of her like this.
"Its okay Harls i've got you.
"I'm...I'm... I'm... sorry" she stammers in between sobs.
"What for?"
Harley takes a deep breath to steady her trembling voice.
"I know you don't like it when I cry n I'm sorry for waking you up... You can yell at me or hit me or push me onto the floor now..."
Joker kisses her forehead.
"I'm not going to do any of those things baby."
Harley moves herself closer to him as Joker rubs her back and kisses her softly.
"Do you want to tell me about it?"
Harley shakes her head.
"Puddin? Will you promise that you won't leave me?"
Joker cant help but smile at her childlike personality.
"I promise baby. I'm not going anywhere and neither are you."
Harley curls into Jokers arms and kisses his knuckles before finally calming down enough to fall asleep and feel safe. Joker can't help but wonder what scared her so much. He knows a thing or two about nightmares and he knows that Harley is usually able to deal with them on her own much like himself.
The next morning, Harley feels like doing something nice for her puddin. She watches him sleep for a few minutes. She eventually rolls out of bed to go and make some cookies. She had learned a recipe that had been passed down from generation to generation in her family. When she left her apartment to go live her life with her love the Joker the one thing she refused to leave without was the little wooden box with the index cards that had recipes.

She made sure to keep it hidden in fear that he would get mad. She pulls out the recipe card and starts to make her cookies.
