love
/ləv/noun
an intense feeling of deep affection.—
They were hanging out at Minseok's place, cups of coffees splayed in front of them. Minseok made them himself, and Yixing never stops admiring his skill. He sits next to Jongin, feeling Baekhyun's gaze fixated on him. "Where were you last night?" The younger asked, lips set into a frown. Jongdae was sitting beside Jongin, not feeling any kind of suspicions. Jongin was playing along, acting lovey-dovey with his fiancé. He's still wearing their couple rings, but that won't be staying for long.
"I figured you'd be busy, you know?" Yixing shrugs nonchalantly, and Baekhyun's frown gets deeper by that.
"Hey, Baek, can you give me your hand?" Jongin suddenly said, surprising both Baekhyun and Jongdae. Minseok walks into the room by then, wiping his hands dry with a white towel, Chanyeol and Sehun trailing behind him as they argued about whose cooking they prefer — Junmyeon's or Kyungsoo's. Minseok slaps the back of their heads in order to shut them up, which works.
Baekhyun ignores his loud friends and raises a hand, confused on what Jongin wants to do. The brunette takes off his ring and slides it on Baekhyun's slim ring finger instead, and it fits perfectly. Everyone in the room was shocked and confused except for Jongin and Yixing, who were just staring with a small, hinted with mock, smiles. "It looks good on you."
"What the hell are you on—" Chanyeol get cuts off by the tan male, who's still smiling and he'd be lying if he wasn't creeped out.
"Now, why don't you propose him here, Dae-ah?" Jongin asked and he's saying it with such a sweet tone, almost no mocking in it. Jongdae's eyes widen from the moment Jongin slides off his ring, he's really confused and at the same time scared. He doesn't know why, but he has a bad feeling. His heart was racing in a bad way, he doesn't like this.
"Jongin, what are you saying?!" His fiancé exclaimed while Baekhyun was staring at the ring on his finger with wide eyes, not saying anything nor looking away. He doesn't even lift his gaze to meet the others' stares. He can see Yixing smiling from his peripheral vision and he wonders why the heck is he smiling?
"C'mon, it's alright." It's Yixing's turn now, and everyone avert their eyes from Jongin to the chinese man, his dimple showing. To anyone else, he looks normal. Just sweet, pure soul, Yixing. But in Jongin's eyes, the one who knows and can read Yixing the most (which is hard because Yixing's that good at hiding his emotions), the older looks terrifying. Luke he has something up his sleeves. "You have our blessings."
"Okay, are you both drunk? Cause this is messed up." Minseok shakes his head in disbelieve, he wonders what's gotten to the two males.
"No, it's not messed up. Helping two people who love each other to get them together is not messed up."
