HEY! Hey all, welcome to this little book of mine that I've been working on on and off for a little while now. I really hope you guys enjoy this and let me know what you think. Please like and share and comment! Thanks lovelies <3

"I swear to all things holy, if you don't get up I'm going to pick you up and throw you out of the window!"
I can't seem to care enough and roll over in my bed. What can I say? I love my sleep.

"Charlotte!! Do you hear me? We need to get going!" came Jessamie's voice from downstairs. Why did today have to be the first day of school? I already missed the beach and the late night movie marathons. Finally rolling out of my bed, I came shoulder to face with my adoptive older sister. She took a long, slow breath.

"You made me come all the way up here to get you out of bed, only to get up when I finally arrive?" She asked in a calm voice that told me she was anything but. I gulped. Jessamie Knox was not someone to mess with even though I pushed the boundaries quite often, which meant just about everyday. Standing at a whopping 5'5 she made sure her fiery personality made her at least 6'5 and nearly no one else dared to cross her. She stared at me with eyes of fire and it became apparent to me in my foggy, early morning state that I should get my butt moving and leave for the first day. Taking a quick shower and putting my mess of curls up into a ponytail brought me to my next challenge, getting dressed. I wasn't sure what vibe I wanted to go for; sarcastic, honest or rude. I had three options laid out before me: my "Oh it's you again" t-shirt, my "I'd rather be literally anywhere else" tank top and my "Blah" baby tee. After much internal deliberation I settled on my "I'd rather be literally anywhere else" shirt, it's a personal favorite. Paring it with my black camo pants and black boots, I grabbed my bag and rushed downstairs to grab breakfast and lunch. I wasn't goth or anything, I just had a deep appreciation for the colour black.

"Well don't you look excited for your final year at school." Jessamie greeted me with an eye roll. Me being the ever polite individual I am, returned her greeting and made my way to the garage to hop in the car. Within a few minutes we were on the road and heading towards the last place I ever wanted to be, Ridgeway Secondary.
Pulling into the large gates that seemed to loom over you as you entered only acted to seal the feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach.

"Get out loser, I can't suffer by myself."

Looking up and out of the car window I found myself zoning in on a forest green baby t-shirt paired with a light wash skinny jeans and white vans by the main entrance to the school. My best friend, Jade, stared at me with impatient eyes while I gathered my stuff to exit the vehicle.

"Don't forget that today is your appointment at 4:30 Char. I'm serious. No missing this one this time." Jess called out to me as I made my way over to Jade, who by now was tapping her foot and sighing frustratedly.
Before I could even greet her a loud rumble interrupted all conversations on the front lawn and brought everyone to a hush. All heads swiveled to the gates and sure enough, there he was. Hunter Raymond, Ridgeway Secondary's resident bad boy cliché. Tall, relatively muscular build, shaggy hair that never looked combed, short temper and a motorcycle to add the cherry ontop. It was like something out of a movie. The slow motion kicked in as he parked his bike and swung his foot over it to get off. He had his backpack that never held a book careless slung over his left shoulder and his signature shades had found their place on his face as he strolled up the front steps and into the doors that seemed to open just for him. Once they shut it was like the crowd outside collectively let go of the breath they were holding and the noise quickly returned, only this time about the dramatic entrance that just occurred.
Jade snorted next to me as we turned to enter the school.

"Can you believe these people still worship that clown?" I nodded not really listening as we turned the corner to see him leaning against our lockers chatting with a girl I'd never seen before.
