Olden days...

-Bronwyn's Pov- 

"Bronwyn, honey you need to get up!" My mom spoke in a soft voice 

I lifted my head from the covers of my bed to see my non decorated room, I looked at mommy, I could see she had sad eyes which made me frown. 

I looked at the clock, 

1:16AM 

"Mommy Im tired" I wined 

"Shh, honey shh, I know, we are gonna go for a little ride okay! But daddy can't know okay?" I could see tear springing into her eyes, I nodded and started to get up. Mommy put some warm clothes on me, as it was freezing. When mom was just doing my shoe lases my older brother Gabe came into my room and picked me up. 

He was talking quietly to mommy, I could hardly hear them but I knew it was about daddy. I dozed off on my brothers shoulder until I heard a hard yell from daddy. I looked at gabes face, I could see the fear, yet he still gave me a smile. 

"Go Gabe!" Mommy yelled, he hesitatly grabbed one of his packed bags and went downstairs, I saw daddy getting up from the lounge knocking over bottles of beer. Gabe froze and looked at daddy. 

"Where the fuck are you going?" Dad said to Gabe slurring his voice a lot. I looked up tiredly. 

"I said WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING" he repeated Gabe stayed quietly 

Dad walked quicker over to Gabe, he seemed more than angry.Gabe quickly went for the door opening it to the cold night sky. 

I heard daddy scream at us to come back, but we never did. We went into the streets I could see snow falling, I was to cold to say anything but I found it fascinating. 

My train of thought was interrupted by a loud bang, Gabe flinched and stopped in his tracks, he leaned against the wall 

He mumbled quietly to himself. 

"Abe are you ok?" 

He smirked with a sniffle laughing at me because I still can't pronounce his name correctly.

"Yeah I am Broni.."  

He stopped leaning on the wall as we headed further down the street,

"Abe, where is mommy?" 

"Uh, mommy.. mommy is in heaven" he replied softly 

"Where is heaven? Can we go to heaven to see her?" I said excitedly 

"Maybe some day baby girl, but not now okay? Mommy wants us to be here" 

I stayed quiet, I wanted mommy now..I leant into my brothers shirt for warmth 

My brother walked faster casually crossing and turning streets, he also kept turning his head to look behind him, I started to get a bit anxious, Gabe started to run, he came across a alleyway and took a sharp  turn towards it, he put me down. 

I missed his warmth so I tried to hug onto him, but he pushed me down. 

He looked right into my eyes. 

"Stay here Okay! Do not come out no matter what until you hear the police sirens okay?" 

"But I wanna stay with you!" I pleaded letting all tears run loose 

He hugged me once more, letting go I took a deep breath in. 

"It's gonna be okay, I promise" 

Gabe left back into the streets, I heard shuffling and daddy's voice, soon after I heard another bang like the one before with mommy.

... i just wanted to forget but I never could... 

Hallo this is just the beginning of the story, sorry there wasn't any hunter or anyone, I just wanted you guys to have something to imagine when Bronwyn was younger, and before she was adopted.
