It is a hot summer day.
Sasha stares at the wall as she lays on her bed.
She is thinking.
Her room is a decent size. The walls are painted a pale yellow. A vanilla scented candle is burning.
The sun is shinning through the windows onto her sun kissed skin.
She looks almost like an angel.
Suddenly, she gets up from her bed and pulls a small blue book out from her under pillow along with a pen.
She flops back on her bed and she starts to write,
"It's been two days since I got here and I'm already drowning in a sea of loneliness. I knew it would be this way. It's like this every Summer I visit Dad. He always takes me out on the weekends but during the week it's just work, work and more work. I want to call my friends back home but I promised Mom that I wouldn't. She said that this is time to spend with Dad and that I should build my relationship with him. She's only saying that because she doesn't want people to think she's trying to take me away from him. I miss Ohio. I miss my friends. I wish I knew people in this town. It would be nice. Having friends to take me around town here. Sigh. Well, off I go to drown deeper in my loneliness. Miss me while I'm gone. Love, Sasha."
Sasha stops writing, closes the blue book and slides it under her pillow.
She makes her way to the living room.
The living room is spacious. The walls are painted pine green and the furniture is clean. However, the windows need to be up kept. You can tell by the peeling paint on the window frames that it is an old house.
Sasha plops herself on the couch and turns on the TV.
A romantic comedy is on. She watches for a moment.
Slowly, she falls asleep.
