I hear the front door open. I run upstairs to my room and hide. I hear the footsteps of his feet. I stop breathing. Hoping , just hoping he won't find me.
The closet door opens. I tremble in fear. I cover my face with my hands. He grabs my braid and pulls it.
Sam: you thought you could hide from me!!!!!!
Sarah: no no... I was cleaning my closet.
Sam: LIAR!!!!!!!!!
He slapped my face leaving a huge red in print of a hand. Then he starts to punch me in my stomach. I moan.
Sam: you sorry Sarah
Sarah: yes I am very sorry
Sam: good
But all of a sudden he slams my head against the wood floor. I feel the blood rush out of my head. I feel pain in my arm. He gave me a Indian sunburn.
Sarah: PLZ STOP SAM!!!!!!!
Sam: bitch you keep quite or you know what come.
I nod my head. He leaves the room. I start to cry. I notice my sunburn was starting to turn purple. The blood was still gushing from my head. I grab a bandage to stop the blood. I sit on my bed. I look over to the night stand. I grab the picture of my parents.
Sarah: mom and dad. I love you and I know you are always there. Plz keep an eye on me. I need your help.
I pray. I hope that someday this will all. Just. Stop.
