I wake up to the sun in my face. I hear the TV downstairs. Sam is awake. That is when I have this amazing idea. I am going to escape. I grab all the things I need and stuff all of it into a bag.
I go downstairs and realize Sam is asleep. I try to open the front door. But it is locked.
Sarah: SHIT!!!
I run upstairs to my window. I unlock the window. The trampoline is under my window. So I jump out my window and onto the trampoline. I grab my skateboard up front and ride off.
The first thing I do is go to the bank. I clear out Sam's bank account. I stuff the money in the bag. I go down a ally way. I see a little girl sitting on the ground. I stop.
Sarah: hi my name is Sarah what is yours?
???: Rosie
Sarah:well hello Rosie!
Rosie: hi
Sarah: here
I stick my hand out. She grabbed my hand. And we walked together. She reminds me of well... Myself when I was younger. I grew up in an orphanage. Because both of my parents died.
Rosie:Sarah??
Sarah: yeah Rosie
Rosie: we're are you taking me??
Sarah: I don't know. You see Rosie I am lost too.
Rosie: really??
Sarah: really.
I look at Rosie. Then she speaks.
Rosie: Sarah. I know I just meet you. But you are sort of like my mom. And I can't do this anymore.
Sarah: Rosie what is it??
Rosie: goodbye....... Mom
Then Rosie drops dead. No no no .
Sarah: ROSIE!!!!! ROSIE!!!!! Don't leave me. You are gonna make it. Don't go.
The. Her eyes close. I start to cry.
Rosie: sing to me.
Sarah: Rosie anything for you.
I then sang the song my my use to sing to me.
Darling the sun is rising.
Darling everything is alright.
Just close your eyes.
And dream.
Don't worry about the past or the future.
Just dream... Just dream.
I then hear a small cough. Rosie is gone. I begin to cry even harder. Why why. I know I just met her. But she meant so much to me. I kiss her forehead. I place her in a small blanket I found. And put her down.
Sarah: goodbye daughter. I will always love you forever.
I walk off.
