Chapter 6: The End

Music helped more than anything. George could connect memories and certain moments to different songs. His own videos were also alright but it wasn't quite like listening to his playlists. Lyrics came with feelings and flashbacks, which meant small victories for the short boy.

Two weeks had passed when he finally remembered meeting Will for the first time. He could recall the first few months of their friendship too but there was still no love in sight. He had no idea if this amnesia could change his feelings or not. He vigorously doubted that, though.

However, he didn't mind the idea of dating the older boy that much anymore. He was able to think the whole thing through and he no longer found it unbelievable. Will was a nice guy, and he really started to like him - no wonder why his old self did as well. They got along pretty well, more than George thought they would. He  thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him and no longer shied away when their bodies accidentally touched.

He kept thinking about him from time to time. Almost all of his sudden realisations about the past was connected to Will.

In any way soever, George eventually got back onto YouTube by posting a video with his boyfriend. They played Roblox, mainly because that didn't require a given script and background knowledge of anything. He was still afraid of mentioning something that was obvious now, but he didn't know about it due to his memory loss.

Although, he wanted to make an apology video for not posting for such a long time, Will talked him out of it - 'that’s for the posers and the insincere, George' he claimed. They decided that a small segment at the beginning of the silly game-play would do.

Most of his fans were glad he was back, but some weren't so friendly and understanding about the lack of uploads. A lot of people hated on him for ' neglecting his job', which made him extremely self-conscious and insecure about his work.

YouTube comments had always been harsh ever since he started but this was too much at once. At least he didn't get demonitized...

He felt like a burden to his friends sometimes. He had to rely on them so much, since his wrist was still broken, along with his fractured ribs - and also remembering 2017 was still not enough. He didn't believe Alex and Will's words when they said there was absolutely no problem with asking a lot.

He refreshed his YouTube page once more and clicked on the Roblox video to check the comment section. He was expecting the worst but what he saw was beyond surprising. The top comment was from a verified account - he had to double check, thinking his eyes had betrayed him.

WillNE: I'm so glad you are back, George. I missed you and I hope you'll get through the things that you are dealing with at the moment. And for the ones who are hating on you for not posting: fuck you.

He had to click 'Read more' as the comment was too long.

You lot don't know a thing, and you should appreciate his work no matter what. Don't call yourselves fans if you are just only here to demand...

George was truly touched by Will's words. Happy tears brimmed his eyes as he checked the replies all of which defended him.

He had to see his boyfriend.

Will found himself in the George-Alex household thirty minutes later. His boyfriend didn't clarify why he wanted him there, but he was needed and Will couldn't say no to him.

Alex opened the door for him with a raised eyebrow and a question on his tongue. "What are your intentions?"

"Fuck George, and get shit over with." Will answered with a dead serious expression which earned a smack on his face by the dark brunette.
