"Ah take it easy, damn!"
"Well if you stopped jumping every time I touched you we'd be finished by now!"
You huffed. You knew she was right, but you couldn't help it. This was her fault anyway.

"This is the last time I fucking listen to you two."
Seulgi rolls her eyes, "Yeah, yeah just move your arm out of the way."

You could feel a single tear roll down your eye as Seulgi yanked yet another cactus spine from your body.

"Be gentle!" Your voice squeaked from the pain, despite how hard you had tried to be serious.
"Y/N, it'll be better for you if we just get them out fast," your other friend Sana looked up at you apologetically from her seated position, "rip it off, like a band aid." She smiles softly.
"Okay that definitely does not sound right, this isn't a cloth with some sticky tape on it, these are sharp needles!"
"Hey," Sana interrupts, "don't yell."
You take a deep breath, "How many do we have left?"

Seulgi examines your body, counting each spine.

"Good news is we only have a handful left...."
Your eyes widen, "I'm assuming there's bad news too?"

Seulgi's eyes dart to Sana, prompting yours to do the same.

"Well," Sana begins, "we don't have much left, but the one's we do have are stuck in you pretty deep."
You gulp.
"Just do it," you speak, barely audible.
The two girls look at each other and nod.

"Okay Y/N," Sana starts, "what I need you to do is stay still, it's going to be worse if you keep movi—"
"AHHH!"
"And there's one," Seulgi announces, setting the spine she just pulled from your thigh down.

There go your tears again. You look coldly at her.
She shrugs, "Sorry, it hurts less if you're not expecting it, we needed to distract you."

You swallow hard and take another deep breath. You start shaking your arms and rolling your shoulders, releasing your tensions and trying to relax yourself.
"Okay let's get this over with."

Before the two girls can pull another prick out your body, however, a voice causes you all to turn towards the door.

"Do I even want to know what's going on in here?"
All your eyes meet your girlfriend's confused ones.

"Jennie," you say with a surprised tone.
Jennie's eyes trail down you and you suddenly realize you're standing just in your underwear and a t-shirt.

Sana speaks up first, her words coming out fast and nervous, "It's not what it looks like!"
Jennie chuckles and rolls her eyes, "I know Sana, calm down."
Her eyes flicker from Sana to you, she cocks an eyebrow, "What trouble did you get into now?"
You whine, "It wasn't my fault this time!"

Seulgi stands up, dusting herself off, "Yeah, I gotta back her up on this one, it was mostly Sana's fault."
You hit her arm, "You were the ringleader, and this was your idea!"

Jennie steps closer, her mouth opening and eyes going wide when she sees the spikes still in your leg and the ones on the ground that have been taken out of you already.
She sighs, "Okay guys, I'll take it from here."

Seulgi reaches a hand out to Sana and helps her up, "Fine by us, good luck dealing with Y/N as a patient."
You narrow your eyes at her and point to the door, "Out."
She blows you a kiss on her way out, "Feel better."
"We'll check in on you later," Sana yells as she's being pulled away.

You sigh as Jennie stares at you, brows furrowed.
"What?" You ask her.
She laughs, "Baby girl, how on earth—"

You stick your hand up, "I don't wanna hear it, just help me please, I'm hurting." You pout earning a comforting smile from her.
She takes a seat on the couch, "Come here baby," she holds her arms out. You walk to her and she takes the tweezers out your hand. She gently places a hand on your hip to turn you around.
"You know," she says softly, "I'd ask you how this happened, but I don't think I want to know the type of shit you and those two get into when I'm not around."

You giggle, placing your hand to her scalp and massaging gently.
"Mhmm, don't do that if you want me to focus on getting those things out of you." She smirks up at you.
You retract your hand quickly, "Please get them out."
She chuckles, "Okay, okay, come here."

Gently she takes a spine in between the tweezers, she looks up to meet your eyes and you nod. She pulls one out and you're surprised at how it only stung a little.
"You're so much better than Seulgi at this."
She smiles puffing out her cheeks and holding up the tweezers, "I know."

One by one she removes the remaining spines, only making you wince slightly. After each one she removes, she rubs her thumb over your leg where it was and kisses the spot. Once she's finished she looks up at you.

"How does your leg feel?"
You sigh, "Sore."
Jennie pouts before standing up and walking into the bathroom, she returns with a first aid kit. She then heads to the kitchen and comes back with an ice pack.

You lay on the couch as she cleans your wounds for you and covers them up. Once she's done she gives you the ice pack.
"Keep this on you for a bit, just to make sure it doesn't swell."
You nod and do as she says.
Her eyes peak up at you to notice that you're staring at her.

She grins.
"What?"
You shake your head. "Nothing."
She quirks an eyebrow making you smile.
"Thanks for taking care of me."
Her face softens.

"You know I love taking care of you, but I really wish you would stop hurting yourself." She pouts.  "I don't like coming home to my baby being hurt all the time."
She sits behind you and you lean back into her.
"Blame Seulgi."
She giggles as she holds you tight from behind.

"Well tell Seulgi, if I keep coming home to a wounded girlfriend, she can forget about me putting in a good word about her to Jisoo."

You both laugh as you snuggle up together, the soreness of your leg being the last thing on your mind as your girlfriend holds you tighter.
