Yoongi has always known that such a moment will arrive sooner or later. He didn't know where and how exactly it would happen, but he was aware of the fact that it was bound to turn into reality one day – an attack against him.

Cyber bullying was one thing, he had received many threats, some even circled around death, but anyone could type something on the Internet, it was easy to hate someone and be brave behind the screen.

His company always took action against malicious comments and some people even got sued.

But Yoongi had the hunch that somewhere, someone would actually try to put his life in danger.

It was a really hot night, as expected from June.

He had just finished attending a charity concert, there was a number of musicians who took part and Yoongi was one of the artists who performed later, since there were a lot of effects which required night time, so he got on stage a bit after 9 pm and it was currently 11 pm.

He performed only four songs, he was not supposed to be that tired, but he was also in the middle of working on his new album and sleep was a luxury he couldn't really afford, so he practically dragged his feet towards the van.

There were still a lot of people left, taking pictures or just calling his name. He waved a few times, but that was it, he avoided looking at the cameras, because he didn't want his exhausted expression to be captured. Seeing such shots was just going to make the fans feel uneasy and they were going to scold him for once again working too much and he knew that he was doing exactly that, but he was a perfectionist, he couldn't help it. There was surely going to be another reaction as well – the fact that he looked sleepy and didn't smile widely, that was going to be the source of new rumors, he already had a lot on his head, he didn't want to deal with that either.

He was looking forward to going back home, his body needed sleep like lots of it.

Maybe he was a bit out of it, maybe he shouldn't have looked at the ground, maybe he should've drank stronger coffee, because four cups of Aced Americano didn't really help with keeping him awake. The excitement of being on stage definitely managed to lift up his spirits, he performed like a beast tonight and as always, he removed his earpiece for a couple of minutes, so he could hear the chants and cheers better.

But that was Suga, the rapper. As soon as he stepped down from the stage, he was back to being Min Yoongi – someone who was sleep deprived and rather hungry at this late hour.

So yeah, maybe under other circumstances, the following event could've been avoided... alas, everything happened so fast that nobody could react before it was already too late.
