I LOVE ALL YOUR SUPPORT! HERE'S PART 2 AS REQUESTED! HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY AND THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVELY AND HILARIOUS COMMENTS!

Your phone buzzes for the hundredth time today. It might as well be considered a bee at this point. Illuminated on the screen are a series of missed calls and texts from Sweet Pea. As much as you hate to admit, you've been actively trying to ignore every single notification from him. Your life is already in shambles and you didn't need to drag him in.

There's a knock on the door before Veronica pokes her head into your dimly lit room.

"Hey, dinner's ready in 5."

"Not hungry," you grumble and nestle your face back into the damp, comfort of your pillow.

Veronica's silent and you thought she'd left, but her footsteps echo towards you. The mattress dips as she takes a seat on the edge of your bed. Her hand massages your shoulder as she quietly asks, "what's up? You never give up filet mignon!"

You grasp onto the silky material of your pillow, "mom and dad already hate Sweet Pea! What am I supposed to tell them? 'Oh hey, daddy, I'm in love with the serpent you wanna kill'! Like that's gonna work out well..."

"Y/N," Veronica whines, "you haven't even tried-"

You glare at her. She zips her mouth shut, knowing that you're right. You either leave Sweet Pea or stay with him until your father shoots him dead.

"I'm sorry it has to be this way, Y/N," Veronica sighs and brushes your hair back.

Another day goes by without talking to him. Ignoring his calls. Avoiding him in the halls. Before you know it, it's been a long week without feeling his arms embracing your body. There's a certain type of emptiness without him, but you try to fill it with your studies, milkshakes from Pop's and spontaneous shopping sprees with your friends.

It's late and the mall has closed for the day. You haul your bags full of your new clothes into the Pembroke, struggling to get your keys out of your purse. Surprisingly, the front door swings open. It's not the familiar suit & tie of your father, nor the jewel covered decollate of your mother, neither was it the pearls of your sister standing in front of you. It was the all too familiar leather jacket.

You look up and you're come faced-to-faced with Sweet Pea, just as he was the last time you saw him.

"Y/N," he says with no emotion written on his face.

"Sweet Pea," you faintly let out.

"I was just heading out," his eyes barely graze you as he shifts past you.

"Wait," you turn around and he looks back to barely face you.

"What are you-"

"Y/N," he stops you mid-sentence, "sorry, whatever we have-HAD can't keep going on."

What hurts the most is that he seems more infuriated by you than upset.

"What do you mean?"

He rolls his eyes, "you know exactly what I mean."

He spits out and leaves without another glance.

You turn back, feeling numb from head-to-toe. Standing leaning against the doorway is your father, a devious smile on his face, "the snake finally shows you his venom."

"Why was he here? What did you say to him?" You scream back as your father shakes his head slowly, "he slithered up here wondering where you were...to my surprise. I didn't know you two had a liking for each other..."

Tears start to build up in my eyes, "What. Did. You. Tell. Him."

"The truth," your father stands up straight, "and you were just in time to watch him leave."

You brush past your father as you rush into the privacy of your room.

"I'm sorry. He doesn't deserve you," your father calls out as you slam your door shut and drop your bags onto the floor.

The tears sting your eyes as they rush down your cheeks. You try your best to wipe them, but they kept flowing. You couldn't believe that Sweet Pea had left you without another look. It was as if your whole relationship was fake, that you were easy to toss away once things became too complicated.

You pull your phone out and on the screen was a text notification from Sweet Pea. For the past week, you'd ignore it, but today you read his message loud and clear: "come outside."

So out of desperation, you snuck past your father and made your way out and towards the end of your block; where you and Sweet Pea would usually meet in the middle of the night. As your approached him, you wiped your tears frantically. He sat on his motorcycle, his eyes finally looking up from his phone. A small smile on his face.

"You really think I'd leave you?"

You let out an exasperated laugh as he held onto your cheeks, pressing his lips deeply into yours.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he mumbled into the kiss, "I had to. Your dad was watchin' and I had to make it believable that I was leaving for good."

"How'd you- Why'd you-" you stumbled, trying to collect your words.

"Word travels fast and I found out why you've been ignoring me...thanks to Veronica," he lets out a nervous laugh, "so I started planning for a time to have a lil' chat with your dad, hoping to convince him that I'd leave you alone. Breaking it off with you in front of him was just the cherry on top."

Sweet Pea winks as I fly into his arms, soaking in his hug. He holds onto me tightly, "it's gonna take more than a few threats to get me away from you."

"So we're back to how we were?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Yeah, except without the whole 'let's-ignore-Sweet-Pea-and-make-him-all-worried-and-shit' part."

"I'm sorry, Sweet Pea."

"It's all good," he takes a deep breath, "We've got each other now. That's all that matters. I wouldn't want it any other way.
