How are you enjoying the story so far?

I wanna ask a question! What were your first impressions of me compared to your thoughts on me now?

Walking through the halls, Yoon-oh was aware of all the stares he got from surrounding students. He was aware of what they must be thinking of him, how they must perceive him now, but he didn't care, he had other plans in mind.

He walked into class and sat down at the back, reclining in his chair with his feet on his desk. Yoon-oh put his hood up and over his eyes, not wanting to deal with anyone just yet.

Mr. Lee came into the room a moment later, "good afternoon class," he said, pulling out his clipboard.

"Son Seungwon?"

"Here!"

"Bae Joohyun?"

"Present."

"Kim Taehyung?"

"Here."

The teacher called on everyone, only giving them a moment to answer before quickly moving onto the next. Yoon-oh paid no attention to all the names. He hated everyone in his class. He remembered all the times he would get pushed around on a daily basis and Little Miss Perfect Bae Joohyun would look the other direction as if it wasn't even happening, but then turn around and ask that he help write her papers. He scoffed when the super loud and overly obnoxious Byun Baekhyun yelled present. The brunet recoiled in repugnance when the teen spoke during English class, with his disastrous accent and poor grammar.

"Jung Yoon-oh," Mr. Lee called, scanning the classroom.

Yoon-oh raised his hand, "it's Jaehyun," he spat. He felt all the eyes of the other students on him. Most of them were surprised, they thought they were getting a new student, but it turns out it was the school's prince charming.

The teacher stared at the student, "right..." He said, shocked that his star student finally showed up, only to be looking like a complete thug.

"Jung Hoseok."

"Here!"

Oh, how Jaehyun hated Hoseok. The older teen always stepped all over him, pushing him to do his homework, forcing him to be partners with him, only to make him do all the work while he got away with an A, but zero work done on his part. Hoseok had even threatened him on several occasions, that if he were to tell anyone he'd beat him up, and Jaehyun had been too scared to fight back or speak up for himself. No, Yoon-oh was too scared to fight back or speak up for himself, Jaehyun wasn't going to have to deal with any of it, not anymore.

"Kim Dongyoung?"

At that, the brunet perked up. A moment went by with no one speaking up and Jaehyun was sure that the elder was most likely skipping, which was typical of the teen. He sat back with an inaudible huff and let the teacher finish rollcall.

Jaehyun waited for the entirety of the lesson for the ravenette to show up late, utter a lame and probably made-up excuse before sitting down with his feet up on the desk. He was expecting, more like hoping for, Dongyoung to show up eventually, but he wasn't surprised when he went the entire lesson without the ravenette ever appearing.

After school, Jaehyun was strolling through the hallways, his back slouched while he walked. He hadn't noticed it immediately, but he had grown a bit taller since then, and he had to give credit to the fact that he started working out, finally looking like he had finished puberty.
