"Hyung, wait up!"
Yoon-oh turned his head to see Jungwoo running towards him, his arms flailing around.
"Hello Jungwoo, how was your morning?" The teen asked politely, putting his notebook down on his lap.
"Mine was pretty good, and how about you hyung?" The younger asked, setting his tan book bag down on the ground next to his feet.
"It was alright." Yoon-oh replied his voice calm and polite as usual.
The blond hummed, "what are you working on hyung?" Jungwoo sat down next to older, taking the small brown journal and opening it to the bookmarked page.
"I'm just doing a little writing." He said bashfully, he wasn't used to sharing his personal poems with others, but he decided that it couldn't do any harm to let the younger take a peak as he would only be seeing a shorter poem and not one of his longer ones.
"His soul burns so brightly I fear I'll catch fire." The blond read the words, his soft voice giving the poem a mellow tone.
"Ignited by passion, consumed by his light." Jungwoo's cheeks heated up, though it was a subtle shade of rose compared to Yoon-oh's tomato red complexion as he read the next line, "I risk losing myself in the flames of lust, burning into the night." They finished together, the deep tone of the older's voice harmonizing almost too perfectly with the younger's gentle one.
"Wow hyung...that's beautiful." Jungwoo said, his eyes scanning over the poem over, once, twice, even thrice before fully facing the taller, "how'd you come up with all this?" He asked, gesturing to the poem written on the parchment.
Yoon-oh shrugged, his cheeks a light pink, "I don't know...I just kind of write whatever I'm feeling I guess."
"Well, what were you thinking while you were writing this?" The younger asked, looking back at the poem, admiring its beauty.
The older looked away, resting his head on his mouth as if he were tired, even though he was really trying to hide a smile, "nothing much...just kind of came up with it while walking home one day, and couldn't get it off my mind."
"Oh...okay." Jungwoo said, looking away as well, his smile slightly dimmed.
"Hey fuckers!"
The pair looked up to see a group of teens coming together, cursing at each other and clapping each other on the back, "yo Dongyoung, you're coming to the party this weekend right?"
"Yeah of course, as if I'd miss it." He said back, laughing obnoxiously.
Yoon-oh stared at the older, his eyes scanning over the teen's lean body, not missing a single detail of his broad shoulders, petite waist and shapely thighs.
The older teen's slender neck and smooth collarbone made the younger drool. His perfect set of big feline eyes behind long lashes, delicate face shape and porcelain skin set him apart from his group of friends, all more tan, skin more rough, and eyes sharp and predatory. Yoon-oh amused himself with the idea of Dongyoung being a prince, and his body guards were the others flocked around him.
"Yoon-oh hyung?" Jungwoo clapped his hands in the older's immediate line of sight, shaking the older out of his daze.
"Y-yeah?" He said, his eyes focusing on the empty space in front of him where the older and his friends once were, "sorry...what were you saying again?" He said, facing Jungwoo, an apologetic smile on his face.
"I was just talking about how dumb they are, wasting their lives partying and doing drugs," Jungwoo grimaced, "so distasteful. I heard Dongyoung slept with one of the cheerleaders, but then completely blew her off after, she even left the school because he started bullying her and...."
The older's attention however, was quickly swayed when he saw the older pass by again, laughing and shouting loudly with his friends. Yoon-oh's heart sped up when he saw Dongyoung smile, his pearly white teeth adorned with silver braces, the turquoise bands being obvious with how they contrasted with his pink gums. The brunet couldn't get enough with the older's musical giggle, it being so airy and light, reminding him of when Dongyoung spoke English.
Jungwoo on the other hand, saw the older obviously not paying attention. He sat back in his seat with a huff and fiddled with his fingers as he looked ahead, occasionally glancing to the side and sighing when he saw Yoon-oh still looking at the ebony-haired male in awe, a smile set in place on his full lips.
The younger of the two cleared his throat, louder than he needed, "I have to get going, I don't want to be late to my last period. Bye hyung." He said, getting up and waving to the older, who, to the younger's disappointment, only hummed.
Yoon-oh tore his eyes away from the teen in front of him, and packed his things quickly, "I should get going too actually." He said getting up, walking up to the younger's side.
Jungwoo bit down on his lip to keep a smile from forming, "well then, let's go shall we?" He said, his cheeks turning pink, the soft brushing of their shoulders making the shorter's stomach do somersaults.
"We shall." The older said, sharing a laugh with the other and heading off to their last class.
"What class do you have right now?"
Jungwoo pulled out his schedule, he was not yet accustomed to his new classes so he kept the paper with him just in case he needed a reminder, "I have science with Mr Choi, what about you?"
"I have PE right now."
"Oh okay." Jungwoo said, feeling uncomfortable with their awkward and quite forced conversation. The younger parted ways with the older, wishing him farewell with a smile, it dimming quickly when the taller did not reciprocate it, instead simply giving him a little wave behind his back without saying a word.
"See you tomorrow..." Jungwoo said, staring at the back of the older's head with longing.
