You and matt have been dating for a few months now. Today he took you on a date to see your favorite book in movie form, the fault in our stars.
While you were waiting for matt to get the popcorn you pulled out your phone before the movie starts. you see that you have a bunch of twitter mentions saying "@(yourtwittername) #suprisefrommatt " and you were absolutely confused. you decided not to say anything to matt but you were still confused about the whole thing.
After the movie matt tells you that you two are going somewhere extra special. you were thinking is this what the tweets were about?¿
Matt blindfolds you and guides you somewhere outdoors considering you could feel the cold air whisking across your face. you screamed to matt "you better not be kidnapping me to kill me"! he laughed an continued taking you somewhere.
Once matt takes off your blindfold you see that you are over by your childhood lake that you would go to almost everyday to write songs. matt set up a beautiful picnic area with a blanket fort set up with fairy lights all around.
Once you realized that this wasn't a dream you screamed and jumped on matt. he said seriously "y/n, go sit in the fort I'll be right back." once again very confused, you sat in the tent playing Kim kardashian Hollywood. you hear leaves being kicked around and thought that matt was back. you heard a familiar strumming to a guitar.
You peeked you head out side the fort and saw matt kneeling on one knee with a pizza box. behind him was shawn playing she looks so perfect, which was you and matts favorite song. then you saw Nash push Hayes into a lake and you started laughing thinking why are Nash and Hayes here!?! once you were back in reality you looked at matt. he said to you, "y/n, I know were only 16 but can you make a promise to me that one day, we will get married. you don't know how much you mean to me and I don't want to loose you ever. There's no one else out there that's just like you. I love you." he opened the pizza box and saw a heart shaped pizza with two promise rings in the box as well. by this point you were crying your eyes out. matt says to you "promise?" an you say "promise." You both say in sync "maybe promise will be our always."
