Chapter 4

We have been taking boxes and stuff in for about an hour now and we are already dying of heat. Jades wearing a t shirt and spandex and I'm wearing jean shorts with a black tank top and a thin red plaid over shirt. I hear barking and turn around to see a cute little white dog sitting behind me. I kneel down and pet it.

"Hi beautiful, what's your name"

You grab the name tag and take a look.

"LaLa" I say out loud "what a beautiful name" I say and scratch her.

"Is that a dog?" Jade walks over and asks.

"Yep she was just laying here" I say, my attention still with LaLa.

"She?" Jade laughs.

"Ya I looked at her tag her name is LaLa"

"Awe cute, where's her home" Jade kneels down beside me to pet her. I check the tag again.

"Oh just right across the street"

" okay well Everything's out of the truck to I'm gonna tip the guys, would you mind taking her back by yourself?" Jade asks.

"You just dot want to get killed" I say with a laugh.

"Pshh no... Well ya but seriously I'm sure these guys want to leave" she says.

" okay I'll be back in a few" I smile and sweep LaLa up in my arms.

"OKAY DON GET KILLED" Jade yells back to me.

"Don't count on it, it will be only for a minute!" I look back and say.

I walk up to the door with LaLa in your arms and ring the doorbell. I pretty middle aged woman with black hair opens the door with a smile.

"Hi I found your dog in our yard" I nod my head back to my house.

"Oh deary sorry I don't know how she keeps getting loose"

"It's no problem she's a great dog" I smile at her.

"Thank you, and is that an American accent? She asks.

I laugh a little" yep, me and my friend just graduated and moved out here together".

"Oh that's lovely" she smiles.

"Would you like to come In for some lemonade?" She added.

"Ummm" I say nervously.

"Don't worry I won't kill you" she smiles.

"Ohmygosh I'm sorry I didn't know you could hear us sorry" I say.

"It's alright love, I'm Gina by the way, what about you?"

"I'm Auden" I shake her hand and say

"Sure i would love lemonade".

We walk into her home and sit at a little wood table.

"let me go grab some cups and the lemonade" Gina says and moves into the kitchen. A minute later she appears back In the room with two glass cups and a pitcher of lemonade. She pours us each a glass and sits down next to me. The room isn't very big we are sitting at the table in the counter and towards the center is two couches and a tv.

"Thanks" I say with a smile.

"So how old are you and your friend, what's her name?" She asks

"We are both 18 and her name is Jade"

"Oh that's lovely" she says with a smile.

"MUM TELL JAI TO QUIT BEING A CUNT AND LET ME WEAR THE OBEY SHIRT WE SHARE" a cute boy storms into the room and stops as soon as he sees me.

"Luke this is Auden, her and her friend moved in across the street from America" Gina says to the boy named luke.

She looks at me,

"Luke and Jai are my twin sons and are also 18"

Luke walks up and shakes my hand

"uhh hi I'm luke sorry about that" he smiles and blushes a little.

"Hi Auden nice to meet you"

Jai walks in an looks at me

"Hey mum who's this?"

"This is one of the girls that moved in across the street from America, there 18 like you two"

"Oh cool hey nice to meet you in jai" jai says and shakes my hand.

"Hi I'm Auden" I smile

"Uhh sorry but I got to go we have a lot of unpacking to do and if I do t get back soon jades gonna think I was killed or something" I say with a laugh.

"Would you like some help?" Luke asks.

"Ya we would be happy to help" says jai.

"Sure Jade and I would love the help" I smile and we head back over to my house.
