There he was. Being a dork as usual. But at least he was here right? Tonight was prom night and you weren't sure if your bestfriend would make it back in time from his Tour. But luckily his flight landed about 5 hours before so he had time to prepare. He walked up to you from the car and gave you a white, purple, and baby blue corsage. The baby blue matched your dress. You kept hearing clicking..
"Uhm, Calum? What is that clicking noise?" You asked him.
"It's our photographer, he will be taking our pictures tonight. He takes amazing pictures so you have nothing to worry about."
You guess Calum convinced his limo driver to drive you both to the school tonight.
You got to the school but before you went inside, Calum told you to turn around. He put on a beautiful gold necklace that said "Prom Queen".
"Even if you don't win prom queen, you're still a queen in my eyes." He told you.
He always said the right thing.
This is when you figured it out. Your best friend, Calum Thomas Hood, was the love of your life. For some reason you just realized it and it just hit you! You loved him. You decided not to say anything just in case he didn't feel the same way. You don't want to ruin what you already have!
You walked in together and all eyes were on you. You decided not to care, you were with the hottest guy ever! You found your friends and they told you how beautiful you were and you complimented them back. They said you and Calum were cute together!
"But we're not even dating!" You'd reply.
As the night grew older, they finally were starting to announce the Prom King and Queen!
You wish you would get chosen as Queen but it wouldn't matter because you had Calum and nothing could make this night any better.

You and Calum both got Prom King and Queen. You got the spotlight dance and everyone watched in awe, wishing they were you. When prom ended, Calum brought you back to his mom's van.
"Okay, so this is probably weird for you and I understand if you don't feel the same way. But you're my best friend, and earlier today when I saw you in your beautiful dress and the way your eyes lit up when they called your name for Prom Queen, I knew. Right then and there, I wanted to be with you. I'm in love with you y/n and I hope you feel the same way.." Calum told you.
"Wow.. Calum. I love you too. I feel the exact same way!" You replied.
He then kissed you like you've never been kissed before and then, you knew, you wanted to spend the rest of your life with Calum Thomas Hood.
