"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." - Johnny Cash
You rushed forward, ready to assist in any way you could at this moment. However several fabric like strings wrapped around you as Present Mic and Shinsou began their own assault. The hero in question restraining you pulled you back.
"Stay here and watch over the sailor." Aizawa told you, quickly using another set of bandages to grab the man from the woman who was too busy covering her ears from Present Mic's quirk to notice Aizawa take her almost test subject from her. "I can't and won't risk you getting hurt."
"But I can help!" You told him, not wanting them to get hurt by your lack of help.
"You've done enough to help!" Aizawa told you, pointing to an open freight container a close ways away. "But... this situation is out of your skill range. So take cover and make sure you both stay alive!"
He didn't give you another moment to protest as he rushed forward to help Shinsou as he was getting overwhelmed and was unsure how to free himself from the woman firing a needle gun at him.
Aizawa managed to grab her arm at the right moment, the round missing Shinsou and the black sludge instead hitting another cargo freight and breaking upon impact. The woman cursed, now pulling out a gun and aiming for Aizawa.
He was quick to hop away, this time landing on a cargo container above the fight. The metal object hanging on wires that provided Aizawa with enough cover to hide from bullets. The woman instead turning and looking for another target.
She spotted you attempting to move a grown man to safety and thus decided it was quite the opportunity for her. And with you unaware of this she took aim rather quickly and put her finger on the trigger.
"Don't think so." Shinsou spoke towards her, deciding now to be a good idea to not only kick her in the gut but also attempt to get her to talk to him so he could, as a result, use his quirk.
The woman simply glared, her gun gripped tightly once more in her hand as she aimed towards Shinsou this time. But once again, it seemed that the teamwork of the pros and the hero-in-training greatly outmatched her own reflexes and actions.
"YEAAAAAAH!" Present Mic screeched, making her skid across the ground and land between Shinsou and Aizawa who had jumped down from his little lookout position.
Shinsou didn't lose his focus for a second as Aizawa signaled for him to not only try to use his quirk again but also start closing in on the crazy woman who was struggling to get up and move at this point. The constant assault finally having its effect on her body and stamina.
Present Mic quickly made his way over to you and helped you with the sailor. Though he refused to move, getting his vocal chords ready in case he'd need to scream another attack towards the woman... just in case.
"It's over... give up!" Shinsou told her, stepping closer, making sure to keep his violet orbs on the gun still in her hand.
The woman didn't respond, but by how she shook violently as she stood up... he could tell this wasn't going to end well. But he had to stay alert... he had to stay positive. You were counting on him... you had put your faith into him to finally end this!
