[The chapter that never came, or it did. I finally found my way back to this fanfic and it is lovely to be back!]

Oh happiness is a drug that I can't get enough of, I've gotten used to it, I feel complete.

George, oh George, he is all mine and I'm all his. This escape, this craving of completion has stopped since we became like one. If he left I don't know what would've happened, I would've been lost without him.

I woke up from a very distant daydream hoping to get proof that my happiness was indeed real. I got the confirmation I wanted from someone knocking at the door.

George stood there, casual as can be in a pair of jeans and a white button up framed by a black coat. Looking handsome as ever. Having that look in his eyes that meant that he was up to something out of the usual trouble. Smirking cheekily. He kissed me on the cheek and hurriedly lead me out of my small flat.

I felt as oblivious as can be, he just continued smirking and intertwined our hands while walking faster.
The sky had darkened on our long walk to the very secret destination, stars filling the dark blue space above us making it feel magical.

He lead me to a park, a very closed park. I'm not sure if we were allowed here at night. What was he up to?

"Uhm George, I'm quite sure this park is as closed as it could be... We should leave"

"Just wait and see, I think it'll be a pleasant surprise" he said and smirked bigger than before.

We ran further into the green park, I trusted George so much that I let him lead me without any further suspicion.

"Close your eyes" he said with a soft voice.

And so I did, I closed my eyes and I trusted him with all that I am. He let go of my hand and I just stood there, curious to see what he had prepared for us.

"Now open them"

I gasped when I saw what was in front of me. A blanket with candles, wine and the most delicious food I've ever seen. Once again I was astounded by this very man, my own love.

"You did this for me?" I said with a trembling voice and tears in my eyes.

"Yeah, why? You don't like it, I can change it all I promise" he said looking into my eyes his eyes full of concern.

"No, I love it. It is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me" And so I looked into his amazing brown eyes and kissed him passionately. The kiss must have lasted forever because when we broke apart my lips were swollen and I seemed to have lost all perception of time and space.

So we sat down on the blanket and he started to serve me all different kinds of food.

We were so caught up in our own world that we didn't notice the flashlight a few feet away. And the obvious shouting coming from right behind us.

"Is anyone out there?"

"Damn children, think they can get away with ANYTHING. This time I'll get them, this time you'll see!"

George and I didn't have to be geniuses to understand that the police was right behind us and it was the perfect time to leave. So we ran and ran and the policeman was just a breath away but we continued running as fast as our legs would hold us. When we finally found our way out of the park George took my hand in his and gently intertwined our fingers.

I looked up from my state of total exhaustion. My breath frantic as could be as well as my eyes wide open from shock finally found his eyes. I completely forgot about the world beyond us and let myself drown in his perfect brown eyes just for a moment. I couldn't help myself as I leaned towards him just letting myself get lost in his soft lips. It was gentle and reassuring just like it should be and our tongues waltzed in perfect harmony. There was nothing more than this moment, there was nothing that could've made me love him more.

After awhile we stopped kissing with the need to catch our breaths and we still hung onto each other like our lives depended on it, which maybe it did. At this point I really didn't know and certainly didn't care as long as he was in my arms everything would be alright. Who cares about the police anyways? He was a Beatle for goodness sake! That must have some perks, right?

Either way we continued running, hands still intertwined, running further into the night. Wondering where the city may take us next.
