Unfinished Business

Guess whos back

                                             6:30 am in Los Angeles California.

                            I woke up and put on my tuxedo. I grabbed a coffee at the cafe and people were staring at me and whispering. Soon the paparazzi had found me and i got in my car and rush to the building. As soon as i walked in my employees smiled and waved. I was always nice to them and never a jerk to them like my father or Nathan.

Clerk: name please

Brandon: please tell mr Jones thank you for keeping my seat warm but i think i like it cold

             the check in lady turned and looked away from her computer and looked at me

Lady: Mr.Rivera sir sorry yes right away their up stairs in room 204 

Brandon: thanks sweetheart (winked at her)

                  I went up the elevator  and barged in the meeting 

Brandon: oh im sorry am i interrupting something

Karen: Brandon! (hugs me) 

             Karen turned to me and whispered thankgoddness your here i cant stand this asshole. Karen was a funny chill partner of mine back at business school.

Nathan Jones: excuse me brandon but this doesnt concern you.

Brandon: Doesn't concern me? (walks closer to him) this is my building ... My office, my friends , and my chair something tells me that this doesn't concern you actually.

Nathan: security get him outa my sight

               They didn't move

Brandon: you see they work for me not you including your daughter

               Then Lorraine walks in

Lorraine: hi daddy

Nathan Jones: what the hell is going on here

Brandon: let me explain to you everything my father had goes to me which means you work for me too..... so in that case your fired

Nathan Jones: wait what woah brandon take it easy there buddy i was just keeping your seat warm you know taking care of it while your gone. 

Brandon: oh really then tell me why you have a conference without my permission?

              the security grabbed him 

Brandon: take him to my office

Karen: damn son you still got it in you ill go follow them and make sure everything ok

                  I turned to lorraine

Lorraine: we did it

Brandon: no yet we still have to find that money and settle this once and for all

                  i looked away at looked Lorraine again 

Brandon: why are you looking at me like that

Lorraine: your handsome when your in control you know that?

Brandon: (smirk) yeah i get that alot

                   Lorraine kicked me and i groaned in pained

Lorraine: asshole (walksaway)

Brandon: oww you know you still love me (laughs)

             I walked towards my office and Karen announced that we should throw a party to celebrate my return.

                 i walked in my office and closed the door Lorraine was leaning against the wall and her father was sitting in the chair.

Brandon: i know your hiding it. So where is it 

Nathan Jones: where is what

            I snapped my fingers and my bodyguard punch him in the face

Brandon: i ask you once know im going to tell you again where is the money

  Nathan Jones: i told you i don't know

Brandon: we can do this all day (snapped fingers)

Nathan Jones: im telling the truth i went down there as well looking for the money but if was already gone

Brandon: what that doesn't make any sense

Nathan Jones: im telling the truth there was nothing but a note ... 

Brandon: what did the note say

Nathan Jones: its in that bag

                       I turned to the bag and opened it

            " everything is yours now the company the money but not this money not yet i need you to do something for me first do we have a deal? if we do meet me by the pier at 9pm. I go there everyday."

Brandon: did you go

Nathan: yes 

Brandon: and what did they want you to do 

Nathan: they wanted me to kill you they told me they knew about alice and how she goit lost at sea they told me they would expose me to the world if i didnt kill you. I said yes not thinking. The next day ontv reports said you were missing so i used that pretending i killed you and the gave me the company and everything thing

 Brandon: well if everyone knows i'm alive then so does this blocked person.

Lorraine: which means they will be at the party tonight

Nathan Jones: they are going to kill you

Brandon: well at least i'm going to die trying... take him away

Nathan: where? 

Brandon: to prison

                   The guards escorted him out of my office with just me and Lorraine. I seen her eyes were red

Brandon: hey its okay 

Lorraine: i'm so sorry

Brandon: its not your fault c'mon were gonna catch this guy

Lorraine: what if something bad happens to you?

Brandon: ill wear a bullet proof jacket to make you feel better ya?

Lorraine: okay (sniffs)

                    we walked out and drove to eat breakfast.

Lorraine: if were gonna pull this off we have to act like nothings wrong

Brandon: i know just the person.
