3 years later...

I was sleeping peacefully in my large bed when too strong arms wrapped around me and pulled me closer to them.

"Good morning my darling." Jin whispered into my ear.

"Good morning." I said and sat up.

I got out of bed and went to walk out of my door when I turned back around.

"Jin, get up now. You have work to do." I reminded him.

He sighed. "Yes dear."

...

I snuck into our 3 year old daughter EunJi's room and sat beside her small body.

I gently shook her.

"Babygirl, time to wake up." I whispered.

Her eyes fluttered open.

"Mommy?" She whispered.

"Hi honeybun, time to wake up." I said and gently took her into my arms.

I kissed her forehead and she giggled softly.

I took her downstairs to the kitchen table, where Jin sat completely dressed and washed up.

He looked up.

"Good morning to my two favorite girls." He said with a smile.

I gave EunJi to her dad and he kissed her soft cheek.

"Hi princess, how did you sleep?" He asked her.

"Amazing! But it would have been better if mommy and daddy were there too!" She said.

He Eskimo kissed her.

"Well, guess what? You can have a slumber party with mommy and daddy tonight! How's that?" He said.

"Yay!" She cheered and I just smiled and ate my breakfast.

...

I got EunJi dressed and buckled her into her car seat.

Today she didn't have daycare, so she is just going with us to work.

We got to the building and I held her in one arm while Jin held my hand.

We went up the elevator and into the office.

Jin sat at his desk after giving our little girl a kiss.

I put EunJi in her play area we set up and I sat at my desk.

A few minutes later, my phone dinged and I got a text.

???: Your daughter looks so beautiful. It'd be a shame if she went missing out of nowhere...

My heart stopped.
