You can't get the thought of Joonie leaving out of your head..
Is this it?.. Is it going to end before it begins?
You try not to think about it as you pack your things and get ready to drive home.
He's leaving in a few hours.. right before we are.. You feel a sinking pit in your stomach.
R grabs my arm and tried to reassure.
"Hey Y/N it's going to be ok."
You know R disapproves a little, even though she doesn't say it.. You understand completely. She's seen you get hurt before from a similar situation.. You love her for it, she cares about you so much.. You know she wants to support you in everything, but doesn't want to see you hurt..
"Yeah.. I hope so." You say trying to sound confident.
You feel... weird because you've only known him a few days.. but it seems like forever. How does one feeling affect so much?
As you finish packing, your phone chimes.. You look at it hoping it's Joonie..
"Do you know when you're going to be home yet?"
It was your mom..
Your heart continues to sink..
"You ready?" R asks closing the door to their hotel room.
You can't keep hoping.... it hurts too much.. You decide that it would work out, or it wouldn't... you're not going to spend your time moping. It was an amazing moment, and it passed.. time to move on.
The elevator opened to the lobby, and R walked to the front desk to check out. A soft hand touches your shoulder, and you turn to see who it is.. to your surprise it's Joonie!
"What are you doing here?" You ask with a shocked but happy face.
He pulls you into a quiet hallway to get away from prying eyes.
"I had to see you before I left. You have to know, I've never met someone like you.. I want to see you again.. if you'll let me?" He said reaching out to hold your hand.
You hesitate for a second because.... How would it work? He lives across the world.. and He's in the spotlight 24/7.. Why postpone the heartache.
As soon as it came, it was replaced by a feeling you will always remember.. The first time he kissed you, your heart glowed.. You felt happier than ever before, safe..
With out thinking for another moment, you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him.. After what seemed like forever you broke apart.
"I take that as a yes?" Joonie chuckled.
