Chapter Two: feelings unfold

As everyone say down at the booth I choose we began to order food. Jay takes a seat across from me, Nya sitting right next to him, then Kai next to her, and Lloyd then on the other side where I was sitting was Cole was next to me and then Zane.
" So what are we going to do this week" I ask everyone.
"Good question, it depends if anyone tried to take over ninjago" Jay says jokingly.
" well I know right now I'm going to eat some food first" Lloyd says looking hungry.
" You can say that again I am super hungry" Cole says.
" You are always hungry Cole" Zane says.
" hey Kai what about you have any idea what we should do this week since we don't have to teach" I try to ask Kai, who was, by my guess staring at the girl behind the counter.
Which was skylor, we met her when we went to the tournament of elements which sadly her father was hosting and tried to take all of our elemental powers but thankfully we defeated him and he was banished to the cursed realm. But to do so, Lloyds and my father sacrificed himself to save all of ninjago.
" haha look at Kai, just staring at Skylor" Jay laughs.
" what! " Kai said looking away from Skylor which she had turned around at the sound of her name.
His face was as red as a flame as Skylor walked by.
" hey guys, need something? " Skylor asked.
" oooooohhh nothin'" Jay says trying not to laugh and look at Kai.
" okay? What can I get you guys to eat" she asked us.
We ordered a d got our food. I finished a little quick since I didn't get that much. I see Cole look up at me as I get up.
" I'll be outside of you guys need me" I say. Since everyone was still eating.
I walk outside and get up to the rooftop, as I sit down and pull out my phone to listen to some music I hear something. I quickly get up as I hear something move by.
" who's there" I ask as I prepare for someone to pop out and attack.
" Boo! "
"Ahhh!!!" I jump up scared and trip and fall backwards right onto the person.
" Ow, geez jumpy" I can tell it was cole.
I get up and look at him, as I put my hands on my hips I say " that was not funny, you scared the hell out of me! " I tell at him.
He's still laughing as I say this and he's still laying down laughing so hard he cryed. " but it was really funny" he replies. He gets up and looks at me.
" hmph" I huff.
" sorry I just couldn't help it, and it was sort of a test of you still are on your feet" Cole tells me.
" well, well. . That does give you the right to scare the crap out of me" I whine as I told my arms and turn around.
" aw come on Lily, you can't be mad forever" he says.
"Yes I ca-" I began to speak.
Cole hugs me from behind. I freeze up and get hot in the face. He leans his face on my shoulder.
" Aw come on lilypad" Cole tells me using my old Nick name he thought up for me when we became friends.
I began to feel more comfortable. I haven't really hung out with cole casually since I figured out I had a crush on him. I used to act so natural around him but things have changed and right at this moment I realized I shouldn't have ignored him for so long and I just sit my head on top of his head.
" fine I forgive you" I say sweetly.
" Good I was hoping you would" Cole gets up and spins me around.
" oh really, and why is that" I ask him curiously but bravly.
" because I've been wanting to do this for a really long time and not with the guys around" Cole says looking a little red as he rubs his neck.
" wanting to do wha-" I start to ask.
Cole leans in closer and kisses me. I was shocked at first a million thought running through my head until I just soak it in, my heart beating quicker and quicker, then I kiss him right back. He put his hands lightly on my face as I wrap my arms around his neck. As we pull apart we stand there with out foreheads touching each other's as we sit there laughing lightly as he wraps his hands around my waist, both of us smiling big.
