Tay took my downstairs where he sat me on a counter while he began to fix food.
"Sometimes I won't cook I'll have you cook for us okay?" He asked me and I nodded.
When the smell of the breakfast foods started to roam around the house I heard footsteps coming down the stairs making me become more aware and look at the steps to see who came down.
A light skin boy came down, he has dreads and his arms were covered in tattoos and he seemed to be a the same height as Tay but taller than me like he was.
"What's good bro?" He asked Tay, shoeing his braces.
Tay nodded at him "cooking for y'all little niggas because I'm daddy" he smirked while I just listened and watched as they shared conversation.
The dude chuckled and nodded "well Gliz ain't here, he went to some white bitch house" he told him and Tay nodded while he sat at the table.
"Can you give me 6 plates out the cabinet?" He asked and I nodded.
I got down off the counter and reached for the plates that were in cabinet behind me. When I got them down I turned and gave them to him making him smile at me.
In this situation I didn't know what to, like at all because I mean I've never been held against my will before but I don't feel scared to confused. "Here you can give this to Nick" he told me and I nodded, guessing he was the only one that was down here yet so I walked to the table and sat the plate in front of him.
"Thank you" he mumbled as he looked at the food.
I nodded and went back into the kitchen with Tay who had all the plates made now, including ours.
"Take these two to the room and you can just stay up there" he told me and I nodded at him before going upstairs with the plates and sitting them on the table he had in here.
I sat down on the bed, putting my back against the wall with my plate in my hand, beginning to eat when he walked in.
He smiled at me and grabbed the remote, turning to something before he grabbed his plate and sat beside me, watching it with me.
"So...how old are you?" He asked me making me look over at him.
"17" I answered he nodded at me.
"I figured you couldn't be that far away from my age because me and Meka are the same age and y'all are close" he explained to me while I still just quietly nodded.
I wanted to ask questions too but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate or if he would get irritated with me so I stayed silent and looked at the tv, eating my food.
"Thank you" I mumbled to him once I was done and he nodded.
"It was no problem."
