2012, L.A (Present)
Lili's P.O.V
It's a Friday Night and James and I are out hunting for blood.
*beep beep*
I looked down at my watch which just told me that it was midnight
"It's time James" I said
"Finalmente!" he exclaimed (Finally!) "I'm starving! Which club are we going to tonight?" he asked
James is my twin brother, he's five minutes older than me, we do basically anything or everything together. We have a lot in common, like we both hate our first names so we use our middle names. It sounds way to posh for us, I mean imagine having your friends at school call you Everly nor Charlton, it's way too high class for our liking.
"Hmm.." I thought "Oh! I know!" Thinking of the new club that just opened up a couple of blocks away from here, it was called 'The Naked Grape' (A/N: Completely made up don't know how I got the name but still....)
"No" he replied
"Why not?" I whined
"I can't risk us going to a brand new club and having our kind being exposed by us, may I remind you that we are royalty, and it will look bad for our family." James asked
"You finished?" I asked in a bored tone examining my freshly manicured nails.
"Yup, lets go get us some blood" he clapped his hands together grinning.
And then we were off to The Naked Grape.
When James and I turned the age of eighteen human years, we went through a transformation which gave us gifts. Because we were of royal blood, we had recieved more gifts than the usual vampire would.
Because James was born first, he was given his gifts first. He has the power to read peoples minds, He can move inanimate objects and is faster than any other vampire being.
When I got my gifts, I have the power to see into the future, track faster than anyone, and I inherited James' speed too.
When the time came to recieve our gifts, or powers. It felt like a powerful surge soaring throughout my body everytime I recieved a new gift, it felt like an energy sorce suddenly shot through my body and my power was the one that was running the newly found energy.
My gifts became something like a sixth sense to me, or an extra limb. I couldn't live without using them from time to time, and it made me more powerful when I did use my gifts.
~Half way there~
"Esperar." I said coming to a halt (Wait.)
"What?" he asked
"I'll be back, I have to get changed into a dress " I said
