Chapter 4
Lili's P.O.V (10 hours later)
We had travelled a far distance from our home in Nevada, because people will start to get suspicious about all of the deaths happening in one particular town.
We pulled up to our gate and James punched in his code to open up the gate, the gate opened with a loud buzzing noise and slowly opened.
As soon as there was enough space to fit the car in, James sped off past the guards that were guarding the gates and down our 1 mile drive way, around the huge water feature and up to the front door.
James and I also noticed that there was another car parked outside our house.
We got out and walked up to the main door where we were greeted by our butler Arther, he has been working with us ever since mom and dad built this house in the 16th Century, Arther is one of the oldest Vampires that has walked. And yet he has a body of a 45 year old Human.
"Hello you two, how'd the trip go?" He greeted us opening the door.
"Hey Arther, it was fun, but long." James replied.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Who's car is parked outside Arther?" James asked.
"Ah, yes that reminds me, Mz Malette is in the living room with her son Justin and your parents would like to talk to you dear." he said to me.
"Of course they do." I mumbled.
Both James and Arther let out a small chuckle.
"Lets get this over with" I said dragging James along with me "Later Arther!" I yelled before we turned the corner and into the living area where Mom and Dad sat on one couch, and the humans sat on the other couch opposite of them.
The talking cut off as soon as we walked into the living room.
"Hey" James and I said in unison, we looked at each other , then burst out laughing.
Mom looked slightly amused, while Dad had kept his face perfectly straight, we all knew that he acts like this whenever we have company, but when theres no one that Dad has to impress or please, he's like a giant teddy bear.
"Anyways what's up?" James asked.
"Well we have to talk to Lili and Justin about something important" Mom started looking between the two of us "So if you don't mind sweetie, we would rather you go to your room and do something constructive" Mom said.
"Nuh-uh!" I protested "James is my other half, he's staying!" I said wrapping my arms around his waist squeezing him tightly.
Mom knew that she couldn't fight about James and I being separated, unless she wanted her house completely trashed and half of the city murdered by just myself and trust me it almost happened, well the city part didn't. But the house trashing part did, in record time of under 3 minutes, and our house is HUGE! Well Palace if you call it.
