Woken by the breeze of the warm soft air and the touch of small wild grass, I find myself in a large field with barely anything around me. The warm air the silence and the ambiance of where I am I feel as if there are only me and the world left. My eyes catch nothing but a glimpse at a place beyond what I've ever seen, truly beautiful. The feeling of this place and how it makes me feel, how it comforts me is a bit unsettling yet it feels so intimate and loving. I don't know where I am but it doesn't seem bad at all.
I decided to look around my area when I see a few houses in the distance, not wearing any shoes I feel the earth with each step and I feel the tingling of ants roam around my toes. Life will always be life, no matter how small or big even dangerous and deadly life will find a way. On my way to the houses to ask what's going on the wind puts my attention to the smell that it carried with it, it smelt of blueberries, but this smelled more of perfume than anything. The feeling I've felt is stronger here like the source is somewhere around this area but how can this be? Oddly I've pulled towards this source this feeling it's driving me towards something ahead.I start to look around and I see in the distance a girl, I walk over to see if she needed any assistance, she had a casual outfit on but her slender well-built body filled it beautify. “Miss are you alright?” I ask her while offering up my hand. She looks at me with a confused look on her face but as soon as she saw my hand it went away, and she replaced it with a smile. “Thank you, sir, I am sorry you saw me in a way that does not befit a lady,” she says apologizes to me.
“No Hun the pleasure is all mine, I hope you forgive me for intruding it seems I’ve gotten lost here and I’m trying to find my way back home is all. Could you show me back to the nearest road or store, so I can head back to my home this is quite odd for me.” A hint of sadness was in her eyes.
when I explained my need to exit this area that I know not which how I got here, but what she says really shocks me.
“I am sorry, but I fear you're stuck here sir, along with me we are trapped here never to die or grow old this everlasting field a prison and the warden the world.” She explains to me looking up at the sky wondering.
Confused, I look in all directions and see no sign of any posts or anything that resembles anything with roads nearby. This seems to be something most troublesome, trapped in a world with a beautiful woman never to die what turn of events! I look up at the sky and I notice a key feature that I didn't realize until now that makes this world even more bizarre! There is no sun in the sky, but there seems to be light in the sky, but the sun is not here, it's as if instead of the sun this world lights itself up accordingly.
“Excuse me Miss, but where is the sun and also I didn't catch your name I’d love to get to know both if I could get an answer.”
“My name is Rhitta, and I am looking for my beloved sun, for I am Rhitta the lover of the sun and I have yet seen my beloved for many years trapped here. I know it must be odd, saying I am of the lover of the sun you see as just a light I'm the sky but he is more than that he is someone who has been there for us all along.”
Looking at her with a bit of confusion it isn’t the oddest thing I’ve been through today so it's probably true, but it's starting to get darker and colder.
“My name is Rafael, I am from a small city and there's nothing really special about me unlike you,” I say laughing a bit.
Seeing her laugh made me a little happy there isn't too much despair yet, I can only imagine being here by yourself and for years at a time hoping for your love to break your free of your prison. As it gets even darker we head back to her house where food and water were present, I didn't realize how hungry I was until I realized how chapped my lips were and how empty my stomach is. The house was well built and well maintained, the furniture around wasn't just basic but everything inside was fancy like someone was trying to buy her happiness. The more I think about this seems the more I realize the warden who is the sky is trying to buy her love with these objects, the world seems to be jealous of the sun. As I ponder on this way, Rhitta told me to smile and stop pouting which in my eyes made me smile which what she said worked but it seems like her light heart is still there.
The sun sure is a lucky one, a woman like this is rare even in today's standards, but my opinion doesn't matter I need to get out of here and get home and hopefully get her home that's the main objective. The days went by and then weeks, we get to know more about each other like her family that disowned her and her sons. I've come to see she is a strong woman one you can trust and one that is very kind. I tell her I'm from a middle-class family with nothing to add or to mark in the world now. I can tell trying to talk more will lead to her sons and from hearing she has been here for years it must hurt to think about them.
Sometimes her will wavers and she cries herself to sleep I would come over and comfort her but isn't my place. When we eat it sometimes were quiet but in the end, I try to cheer her up as much as I can. About a month went by and nothing has changed at all and we're still here wondering. Am I gonna still be here forever and do nothing with my life? At least I have her to have around a woman who is a symbol of pain but never gives up on what she loves.
Her red hair and beautiful Light brown eyes are what I look at every day but she doesn't look at me. She looks at the sky which is belovedness and I'm sure the sky is feeling what I feel right now. A light seems to show up in the sky I didn't pay mind until it looks like a hole being burned. That's the so how can it be burnt like that and I hear the sky screaming.
Out of nowhere, the world starts to shake, and the world around starts to fade in and out like an eraser being used on pen marks, nothing but smudge and hurting the perfect curve of the words written. The wind starts to pick up and the sky darkens, and the light starts to shine more and brighter like it's getting closer. The world seems to try and fight back but whatever is coming seems to be too strong that it's burning the world like it paper, this might be the sun! Rhitta runs outside looking at the sky inflamed as tornadoes try to put them out but to no avail. Soon the bright man floats down towards me and Rhitta, anything that touches him burns not phasing him like someone set this painting aflame.Another man starts to appear, wearing a suit and looking for pissed off he seems to be in a critical state. "Why do you get to have her this world was made from her copying her soul into a different space wasn't easy! How does it feel to not be able to feel her for so long and now your here trying to take her away she is mine. Your nothing this world love and tenderness has shown me nothing why damn it. Even made by me I can't feel what others feel and yet years of loneliness doesn't sway her one damn bit"
This fiery man soon walks towards this man that seems to be the earth itself. Trying to run away he is caught instantly like a bug but trying to escape is futile it seems. This man this sun soon burning away at the man and he disappears into nothing. He turns to me and his body seems to dim and he holds out his hand. He looks at me while I look in disbelief that the sun is actually alive her sun.
"Thank you for keeping her company, she hasn't had a good life after meeting me so finally interacting with someone else should be refreshing. Her relationship with me cost her everything but she doesn't regret it, she is an amazing woman." He says walking towards her.
I seem to be fading out from this world, I can here Rhitta say thank you to me but without a chance to reply I'm gone. I wake up in bed wondering if this dream was just a dream or just an adventure that's already ended. I end up going to work and going to a party wondering what happened soon a woman that resembles catches my gaze. Speaking to her was all I needed to know because all I could feel was that loving embrace that world.
