Alexia's POV

There has been multiple reports of government staffs and personel missing over the past two years and this morning the number of people has increased upto 20.

"Do you think this is real?" Dan asked

"Well, i dont know" i said

While pouring the warm water, the newscaster spoke words that awakened my soul

" Another government staff has been reported missing, Emmett Gallagher, the 43 year old man have been witnessed under the influence of alcohol 13 hours before he was reported missing. A witness said that she heard him mumbling words in another language," she said

That person lives just a few blocks away from my house, does this mean that the person who grabs people out of nowhere is in our village? No this can't be true.

" Gallagher is also said to be developing strange behaviour a few weeks ago. His neighbors observed that he was often seen with bruises and hysterical when it comes to his surroundings."

I placed the kettle down, took my phone and ran upstairs.

I checked the all the windows upstairs and made sure everything else is locked, after that i went down and locked the backdoor.

After that i sat down and took a deep breath.
Dan looks uncomfortable, maybe because of how I acted earlier.

"Hey, Is there something wrong?" I asked
He just shrugged and went back to the bedroom.

A couple of hours passed by as I try to talk to him but it seems like nothing could make him talk.I tried to think of things he might be worrying but nothing comes  into my mind.

After a few hours of calling his name and repeating the questions "Is there something wrong?" "Can we talk about it?" Daniel finally stands up and with one swift move he held my wrist

"Don't ever  try to get inside my head," he snarled, slamming me against the wall. For several beats we stayed there, his grip crushing my wrists. Finally the burning flames in his eyes were calm, and his gaze softened. "It's too dark for you."

And with those words, I was left dumbfounded and out of breath.

I have never seen a pair of orbs that are like two pools deep and I'm afraid that when I dive in, i might never come up for air.
