Chapter 2:Thalia and Annabeth's POV

Annabeth's POV (watch out for percabeth)

I hear Thalia screaming at Percy and come over. I see her pinning him down near the Canoe's for the lake, and her skinny jeans are wet. Really? Black skinny jeans? On a hot day like this? Oh well, back to the story. So she yells at Percy to get it off, whatever "it" is. He jerks his hand and then I see water come off of Thalia.

"So thats what all that was about. Seaweed brain" I say to myself. Thalia angrily brushes past me, and I sneak up on Percy, with my New York Yankee's Baseball Cap on, making me invisible.

"Gods I love this thing." I snicker, sneaking up on Percy. I take off the cap, right behind him, and jump on his back. He instinctively reaches for Riptide, then realizes it is me and laughs, jumping into the lake, me still on his back.

"Percy!" I say, gurgling under water. He creates a little air bubble for me to breath in.

"Thank you." I say, catching my breath. I swim to the top, the air bubble following me so my Camp Half-Blood T-shirt doesn't get any more wet than it already is. My head bursts out of the top of the water and i smile at Percy, my curly blond hair now flat and light brown, wet. I sigh and climb out of the lake, my shorts and T-shirt soaked.

"Thanks for getting me wet, Seaweed brain." I say, walking back to the Athena cabin to change.

"No problem, wise girl," he says, mostly to himself, but I'm in earshot. I slowly walk back to the Athena cabin, my grey eyes looking for Percy. "I just know he is gonna get me back for jumping on him." I say to myself.

Thalia's POV

I angrily stomp back to my cabin to change, running into Reyna on the way.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be at Camp Jupiter." I say, my eyes looking at her with suspicion.

"Chiron wants me here, for a quest of some sort," Reyna says, pushing past me to get to where Chiron is. I angrily stomp away, heading towards my cabin to change.

I come out wearing a black t-shirt, gray cloth shorts instead of jeans, and combat boots. My hair is combed into a pony tail high on my head. I head towards the big house, wondering why they need Reyna of all people. I notice Jason, Leo, Frank, Hazel, and Nico outside the big house, talking with Reyna and Chiron.

"No fair. I'm more skilled than them" I say, pouting a little. Chiron walks over to me, and my frown turns into a small smirk.

"Thalia, can you-" he starts, but I butt in.

"Yes I will come on the mission with Reyna and them," I say, gesturing towards the big group of campers.

"Actually," Chiron says, his centaur face tinting a little red, "what I was GOING to say, was, Thalia, can you go find Annabeth and Percy? I need them for this mission." My face falls and I scowl at the centaur, stomping to the lake.

"Percy, Chiron needs you to get to the Big House" I say, scowling at him.

"And where is Annabeth? I say, irritated by his blank expression.

"She went to her cabin," he says, walking past me and to the Big House. I turn and start walking towards the Athena cabin, only to see Percy had changed direction and was walking towards Annabeth. I sigh and jog over to my cabin to pack.

I had just finished packing when Artemis knocked on the cabin door, and I walk outside, bombarded with hugs from my friends. I smile brightly and get in the chariot. All I heard before I plugged in my headphones was,

"We'll miss you!"

"Bye Thalia!"

"Stay single!" I turn around in shock, my jaw dropping. Nico stands there, paralyzed in fear and then smirks, as I turn around, my face still frozen in horror. Artemis pulls away from the ground, and her and I fly to our camp so I can go back to the hunters.
