Niall's POV:

The bus slowly rolled to a stop in front of our hotel. “Okay, everyone go put your things in your rooms and then come to mine.” Liam said, standing up.

Zayn and I nodded and stood up too. I walked toward where the bunks were to make sure that Lou and Harry were awake. Harry was laying in one of the bunks playing on his phone and Louis was asleep. “We're here. Liam wants us to put our stuff in our rooms and then go to his for the meeting thing. Can you wake Lou up?” I asked. I walked out when Harry nodded and grabbed my bags before getting off of the bus.

There was already a crowd of girls and paparazzi outside the hotel waiting to see us. One of our security guards came up to me and maneuvered me through the crowd. I smiled and waved to the fans. I wish that there wasn't so many of them so I could stop and talk to them or sign some autographs, but I knew Mike, the security guard, wouldn't let me stop. Some of the girls tried to get closer to me and started reaching out to try and touch me or something. I could feel my heartbeat speeding up and took a few deep breaths to try and calm myself down. My claustrophobia has lessened slightly since I've been in the band, but it still freaks me out to have so many people so close to me.

Soon enough though, we were inside the hotel and out of the main part of the crowd. The people at the hotels were really good at keeping the fans outside so they wouldn't swarm our rooms or something, so the lobby was a lot quieter than outside. I got the key to my room and walked over to the elevator. It took a few minutes to come back down to the bottom floor. A lady in her late twenties to early thirties was in the elevator when the door opened. She nodded in greeting to me before walking into the lobby. I returned her silent greeting and walked into the small room. I pressed the button for our floor and watched as the door slid shut.

I pulled out my phone to see if I had any new messages or anything. I sighed when it said I didn't and started playing a random game on it until the elevator dinged and the door opened up. I checked to make sure that it had stopped on my floor before grabbing my bags and walking out of the small room. I pocketed my phone and turned my attention to the numbers on the door, trying to figure out which one was mine. 517, 518, 519, 520 and 521. I let one of the large bags drop to the floor so I could get my key card out of my pocket and open the door.

The room was pretty much just like every other hotel room we've stayed in, so I didn't spend much time looking around. I walked over to the double bed and laid my bags down on top of it. I would have to wait until after the meeting to get settled in. After sliding the key card back into my pocket, I slowly walked out of the room and over to the one across the hallway from mine. I knocked once on the door before trying the handle and opening it. Liam and Zayn were already sitting on the bed waiting for everyone else to get up here. I took a seat in one of the chairs and studied the carpet. Hopefully Harry and Louis won't take very long.

“Do we really have to do this Li?” I asked, looking back up at him. I knew exactly what he was going to expect us to talk about and it was something that I honestly just wanted to forget. It was a stupid mistake that got way out of hand and I'm not even sure how it happened.

“Yes Niall we do have to do this. I'm tired of the long as hell car rides where no one says a single word to each other. You and Zayn will barely even look at each other, let alone talk. Plus like I said, you two also haven't been talking to me much either and that really hurts.” Liam said. I knew that he wasn't going to take no for an answer, but I had to keep trying anyway.

“Okay, I know we need to talk about what happened, but I don't want to talk about it with Lou and Harry in the room. They don't know what happened and I kind of want to keep it that way. Plus me and Zayn need to talk first.” I said. At this point I was about to get on my knees.

“Well, Lou and Harry need to work their relationship out too and this was the best way I could come up with to make sure that happened while also fixing our problems.” He said, sounding slightly unsure of himself.

“Lou and Harry need to talk privately about whatever they are dealing with. They probably want us to know about the problems in their relationship as much as I want them to know about the problems in mine. Lock them in a room together and tell them that they can't come out until they've fixed all of their problems if you have too. Just please don't make us do this.” I pleaded.

Unfortunately Liam didn't get the chance to answer because Lou and Harry walked through the door. Lou cleared his throat uncomfortably before talking, “Look, I know you really wanted us to do this Li, but me and Harry are going to bail. We talked on the bus before napping and I forgave him for what caused the strain in our relationship so everything's okay with us now. You guys have fun with your meeting though.”

Liam sighed, accepting defeat. “Okay, go.” He said, looking at Louis and Harry. They quickly ran out of the room, probably afraid that if they stayed much longer Liam would change his mind. He turned his attention to me and Zayn. “I'll let you two talk for a little bit by yourselves and then we are talking okay? I'm serious, I want all of this stuff worked out today.”

I nodded and stood up. “Thanks Li.” I left the room almost as quickly as Lou and Harry did. When I was out the door, I stopped and waited for Zayn to come out as well. “Let's go into my room and talk since it's right there.” I said, pointing to the door directly behind me with my thumb.

Zayn looked uncomfortable but sighed and nodded. We both walked across the hallway and into my room. I sat down on my bed and looked up at him.

“Look I'm sorry, but I really just want to forget what happened that day. It got way out of hand and to be honest, it just felt weird kissing you. Um no offense or anything.” I said slowly, studying his face carefully. A small part of me expected to see a hurt expression on his face, but the bigger part of me was happy because of the emotion that was clearly displayed across Zayn's features. He was relieved.

Zayn let out a sigh. “Good, you feel pretty much the same way as I feel. I honestly don't know how it happened but it was just weird. I want to forget it too.” He said, smiling slightly.

I returned his smile but then realized something. If we both felt the same way about the kiss, why were we avoiding each other for the past two weeks? I asked Zayn this and he chuckled slightly.

“I don't know, I guess we both thought that the other person felt differently and would want to do it again.” He said.

“Yeah I guess so. Just to make sure, you don't want to do it again do you?” I asked.

“No! Of course not!” Zayn exclaimed.

“Okay, I was just making sure.” I said. Why was I disappointed?
