"She was discovered wandering around the streets. Thankfully someone saw her and called us to take her in and save her from worse situations that could've happened. She appearently doesn't remember anything. Parents, who she is, where she came from, nothing. She refers to herself as Alexandria, so that's a start on a  given name for her. I'm are glad we can leave her in your hands," grandma explains to the woman in front of her.

"Oh my, what a lot for a child to go through. We will be sure to care for her as best as possible," the woman reassures.

"Hello there, I'm your mom and this man here, is your dad. I like your name, it sounds very lovely," the woman says to me while indicating with her hand herself and the man next to her.

I quickly hid behind grandma. Peeking my head a bit behind her long light blue, lacy skirt.

"Ha ha, seems she's a little shy today. Alexandria darling, don't be scared my dear. These are now your parents. The ones I told you before about," grandma turns and explains to me with her soft warmhearted voice.

"Will I be able to see you again?" I ask, not wanting to leave her.

"Yes, my dear. Now go on now, its time for you to get to know your family," grandma reassures me as she smiles.

I nod and look up to my new family. As I walk out the orphange with my parents, I glance behind me to my grandmother smiling and waving, trying to assure me everything was going to be alright.

Shit, fell asleep. Yes, lunch!

"Can Alex Smith come to the office please? Sorry for the inconvenience."

Looks like lunch will have to wait. I squeeze my way through the busy highschool hallways full of students trying to get to the cafeteria to avoid the long line and finally enter the school main office door. Busy as usual with the phone lines ringing, people waiting, and the secretary and principle pacing back and forth between rooms, I walk toward the secretary.

"You called for me?" I ask the secretary.

"Yeah, um your mom's here to pick you up. Right over there on my right, your left by the chairs."

"Uh,...yeah thanks." I walk over to where my mom is sitting. As she sees me approach her, she begins to rise from her seat.

"What are you doing here?" I ask my mom sternly.

"Hello to you too," My mom answers.

"What did you come here for?"

"You'll see, anyways I'm taking you out for lunch. Take your stuff and meet me in the car out front."

I turn away as I head towards the door, heading to my locker to gather my stuff. After taking my stuff out, I pass by the office as the secretary nods in my direction. Mom probably signed me out already.
