A/N: Sorry for such the long wait guys! In all honesty I kind of forgot about this story... But I'm updating again!! Hope you enjoy!

They brought me to a small room, not kind enough to tell me where I was or even how long I'd be here.

It was all about control, I realized. If they had the control, and kept it from me, surely that is what would make me go insane.

The room was cramped, the lighting dim, and dust seemed to be coated thickly on the brick walls. A cool draft made the hairs on my arms stand up.

I my stomach grumbled loudly at me, and I was not sure the last time I ate. Was it still the day they took me? Or was it days from then? With no windows in my caged area, there was no way for me to tell even what time of day it was.

I closed my eyes, trying to think hard about what was going on. We're my parents bad people? No, it seemed far more likely that these... murderers, these kidnapers, they were the bad ones.

A thought suddenly occurred to me. Hallie disappeared not a month ago. She had no problems, spent no time out on the streets or even with many friends. What if she didn't run away... what if she was taken?

My entire body seemed to turn to stone. Hallie. Mother. Father. Everyone  I loved, gone, some for good.

But there was one thing they weren't stealing. There was one thing I wouldn't let them take.

Me.
