Wonshik's POV
We had a spare moment to kind of just chill, play some ping-pong, interact somewhat... yet all I could do was sit alone and admire Taekwoon. He was the only thing running through my mind, well, and a few words.

Jiseong words kept running through my mind.

"Your heart follows what it wants, and it wants Taekwoon."

Of course I want Taekwoon. I'd love to hold him in my arms and pepper kisses all over his face. I'd want to hold his hand wherever we go, and I'd protect him even if it meant death for me.

There's just... something about Taekwoon that makes him so... irresistible. He's made me so attracted to him, and I'd do anything for him. But alas, he's a taken man. He's with Hakyeon. There's nothing I can do about it.

I looked over at him talking to Jaehwan. He looks happy. His smile... Dang.

He glanced over at me, but I turned embarrassedly.

Why? Why did I turn away? Surely that would make things seem.. weird.

And it did. He stopped talking to Jaehwan-or so it seemed-and slowly came over to me. His long legs took their time as they slowly came closer; his eyes completely locked onto me as I glanced over.

"Wonshik?" He called me.

"Ye-yeah?" I responded, clearing my throat. "What do you want? How come you left your bubbly friend?"

He sat down beside me and looked at me closer. "He's too loud and annoying, nothing like you-except the annoying part." He laughed as he hit my shoulder playfully, so I smiled at him mockingly-trying to.

"You're the annoying one, Taek," I told him, messing his hair up as he laughed even more.

"You know," he said, "it's nice to see you smiling more often, and you even have some colour in your cheeks now!"

Of course I did. It's called frickin' blush, for heavens' sake.

"I-I'm feeling under the weather," I lied.

He felt my forehead, furrowing his brows. "Liar," he whispered in my ear.

"Piss off," I laughed, pushing him away. "Go play some cards or something. It's recreation time."

"Play with me."

"Ex-excuse me?" I asked him.

Did he just ask me to play with him?

"I said, play with me. Come on, Wonshik! It'll be fun!" He exclaimed to me.

I took a moment before answering, then nodded my head yes. "Fine. I'll... play with you."

Taekwoon's POV
When our 'recreation time' was over and done with for the time being, we all headed back to our cells.

Wonshik walked near me, yet.. it seemed as if he was keeping his distance from me. He's been a little out of it for a few weeks now, and I don't know what happened.

I moved a bit closer to him, just to see what would happen, but I accidentally brushed our hands together. Immediately, Wonshik moved his hand away, his face reddening up.

"Sorry, it was an accident," I whispered.

"Ye-yeah," he mumbled, nodding his head.

It was a rather silent walk back to our cell. Jiseong was supervising our walk, but he was just as quiet as Wonshik.

Did something happen to Wonshik? He wasn't... teasing me. He wasn't flirting with me. Frankly, he wasn't doing anything to me, and... it bothered me a little.

I know I have Hakyeon, and I love him, but lately... lately I've been questioning things. I wonder if he has been too.

We got back to our cell and Wonshik went straight to his bunk. He laid down facing the wall, keeping his arms crossed and was oddly silent. I stepped on my bunk and looked at him, poking his back.

"Taek," he said in a serious manner, though spoke calmly.

I did it again.

"Taek, stop."

Shaking my head, I did it once more.

"Taek!" He said loudly, which caught me off guard and I fell backwards.

It did hurt, and that was the truth, but it was also my fault. I provoked him and he just startled me because of that.

Immediately, he jumped off his bunk and came to my aid. He helped me up and muttered small things under his breath. I heard a few 'sorries,' but, honestly, it wasn't his fault.

"Wonshik, Wonshik," I sat as I sat down on my bed, "I'm okay, really. It was my fault-"

"I'm sorry, Taekwoon," he mumbled with his head lowered. He stood in front of me, his hands balled up at his sides, but... he was shaking. "I shouldn't have raised my voice like that. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to get hurt."

"Wonshik.." I smiled at him, grabbing his fist and tried loosening it up. "It's okay. I'm fine," I told him, then patted the spot next to me. "Are you... okay?"

He didn't answer. He didn't move either. He just.. stood there, staring at the ground.

"Look, Wonshik, if something's bothering you, you can tell me-"

"I can't, Taekwoon," he said with a crack in his voice. "No matter how much I want to, I... I just can't."

I pulled him closer, and he ended up sitting next to me on the bed. Then I took his hand and gently rubbed it, looking at him worriedly.

"You can. If.. if someone's bothering you, or if you're stressed out about anything, you can tell me."

He took in a deep breath and stared directly into my eyes. His eyes were watering up-gradually-and his lip trembled before he spoke any words. "I... I.."

And he stopped himself right there as he leaned forward and suddenly pressed his lips against mine.
