16. Traumatic Lost

Jenny Ann POV

We are still breaking the glass. 4 minutes left. There are so many broken glasses on the floor. We have to be careful. We have to avoid those broken glasses. We still keep on  breaking the glass eventhough it hurts our hands and our hands are now bloody.

"3 minutes left. Haha", he said followed by a very frightening laugh"

"How dare you!", Andrew suddenly said.

"I said, learn how to respect people older than you.

"But...", I cut Andrew's line.

"Stop it!", focus on the glass.", I said. It is hard to break the glass. 1 minute left. Lito got his axe. In one minute, we have to break this totally to save the caretaker's life. I hope the police officers are now coming.

Author POV

In the police station, the police officers are now getting ready to raid. The police officers are Anthony, Christian, Michael, Jaylord, Lhordinan. They are all getting ready. Lhordinan has the record of Villa de Mortel. According to their record, the caretakers always changed every three years because of their death. And, aside from that, there are always raids happening every three years, all of the police officers are dying. But they have to do this. They are sure that they will win. Aside from those, every three years, a group of youth are dying. That is according to the record. They started to think what is happening in the resort. Why is that happening? A group of youth who used Villa de Mortel as a vacation house are dying. There are no particular reasons why the killers kill.

Jenny Ann POV

"What the! 10 seconds left, yet, the glass is not broken totally, not even in half.", I said.

"Don't lose hope. We can do this.", Louie said. 5 seconds left but we can't, we just can't to break the glass. If we break this in half, we will go inside and fight the killers, but we can't.

5 - Louie punced one part of the glass and he broke it.

4 - I was able to punch the glass and I broke it.

3 - Cyrille broke one part.

2 - Same with Cyrille,  Stephen managed to break one part.

1 - I am breaking one part but I can't. It is hard. But Andrew broke one part.

0 - The glass is not yet broken. We saw everything. Lito threw the axe inside the fridge, and blood started to flow. It makes us scared. He killed Sir Jhonar in front of our eyes.

I can't believe I am seeing things like this. I ran to go back to the big house. Later on, I am already in the big house. I am going to the kitchen to think that time when I saw blood flowing from the fridge. I tried to move. I walked slowly towards the fridge. It is now flowing faster. I suddenly opened the fridge but everything is fine. Nothing's wrong. There is no blood now. I guess I am just imagining things because of trauma. I am scared. Later on, my classmates came.

"What are you doing here?! Don't you know what you did was dangerous?!", Jean shouted.

"I know it. But I can't take it. I guess tomorrow morning, the police officers will come, I hope. I'll go to sleep. It is too late.", I walked upstairs while thinking what just happened. They followed me. We all went to sleep.

--- The Next Day ---

It is already 10:29 am but still the police officers are not here. I decided to contact mom.

"Hello, Jenny, how is it?", mom asked.

"Mom, why are the police officers not yet here?"

"What? I contacted them and told them to go at Villa de Mortel. Villa de Mortel is the name of the resort, isn't it?"

"Yes mom."

"Oh why is that happening?"

"I don't know mom.", suddenly I saw an unfamiliar man running towards me. I've never seen him before. He is calling my name.

"How come you know my name and why do you look like that?", I asked.

"Your mom sent us here, we are police officers but unfortunately, they were trapped and they got them. We gotta save them."

"Wait. I'll tell this to my classmates. I went inside the house and we went to the kitchen where they are eating their breakfast.
