(Unknown POV)

I walked into a beautiful private lake home only 20 minutes away from the town. St. Port was lovely, but it wasn't home. It was really nice to have a small lake in this area away from the crowded beach.

The home was pretty cozy, it had 3 bedrooms and a wonderful view of the private lake. I walked through the empty home hearing only my footsteps click against the dark brown wooden floors against my black vans. The house was amazing, even though it was nothing like my home back in England, it was going to have to do.

I turned past the living space that lead me towards the dinner. Everything looked modern, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, tile back splash and other things that were just 'extra' to make this house look fancy and expensive. The overall home had this Americanized Verona feel to it. It reminded me of a hotel i once stayed in, quite lovely.

I stood right in front of the glass wall that would lead me to the backyard. I could get use to this, the whole moving away from home and trying new things. Taking a break from hearing my parents always nag and complain to me about how important it was that i was prepared and ready for this assignment, and how important this was.

How important it was for me to learn everything I could about KCQ, about how important it and critical it was for me to get this job.

How important it was for me to meet Copeland Quinn.

That wasn't going to be an issue though, because when i saw something I wanted i was determined to get it any way i could.

Being here alone, in my own liberty... felt amazing, peaceful almost. It would have been fantastic if could be here without my assignment.

But I wasn't here to kick back and chill, or try out new things, no, I had a purpose here and that purpose was to get the girl.

Funny, i would never imagine changing my life for a girl. I still don't

I wasn't my dad, I wasn't going to move halfway across the country just to control himself from committing the same mistake again. Who knows, when he would return, he was a grenade and he was about to explode anytime.

I wasn't going to let that happen, I sacrificed myself-- my life to do this for my parents. It wasn't like i had a choice either. I was practically born into this world for this very reason, and this reason only. This was pretty much my destiny, my purpose in life.

Shit luck.

"So how do you like the home?" My Realtor said interrupting my thoughts.

I looked behind me and smirked, I turned around completely facing her again. I smiled as i putting my hands in my pockets as i prepared to put my innocent game face on. I looked at her briefly, she was a young Brunette woman, not to mention she was fit. Had the longest legs I have ever seen, and they looked super tight, especially with the short black tight pencil skirt that she had on.

"It's wonderful." i said walking towards her with flirty eyes, "how much?" I said standing now, extremely close to her, almost feeling her heat radiating on to me. I usually got my way with woman, give them that smolder look and innocent vulnerable eyes and personality, and BAM(!!!!) they would fall into my trap, they would become putty in my hands.

"O-oh, um..." she said blushing, pulling strands of her long black hair behind her ears.

Another one for the tally, my tricks are just irresistible.

"It's worth $800, 039." she said, smiling not being able to look into my eyes

I smirked, "$800k... hmm, under my budget..." i said teasing.
