Carter looked over to Tim and shook his head. He threw his hands up.
"Well it's about time one of us got a super power--"
"DUDE we have to help Gina this is no time for jokes!" Said Tim frustrated.
"Gone ahead and fix her then smart head like fussing at me is going to help."
"Well anyways the herbs weren't strong enough.. Maybe we have to destroy that box. You know it had something to do with it" said Tim.
"My shotgun didn't even do anything! That thing always blowing something up!" Said Carter.
"We could say a spell.." Said Tim.
"Yeah... Here's the book."
He handed the spellbook out of his cargo pants to Tim and scratched his head. "You think--
Tim, Carter, I just wanted to let y'all know that I am okay Gina communicated.
"Oh snap" jumped Tim almost dropping the book. "I almost forgot you could do that ha okay uh yeah we gonna get you back up in running in no time Gina" he said glancing at her. Carter gave her a thumbs up.
Thanks you guys.
"Anytime Gina anytime" said Carter.
"Yeah we wouldn't just leave you here."
Tim flipped through the book searching franctically. Throughout their journey they have found and came up with spells that could be used for healing and protection. Gina also called them prayers. They believed in God and in this world with mummies and other mystical beings, they were drawn deep in the spiritual.
"Here's something" said Tim, pointing to a page for sleep paralysis.
"Hm" Carter said. "That might work."
"Alright here goes" Tim said.
He gave Gina a reassuring nod and began to read the prayer. Her hands twitched and her feet moved.
Tim it's working!
Tim went over to Carter and they high fived each other. Gina slowly sat up and put one hand on her head. She looked at them.
That was so scary. I didn't know how long I was going to be on this cave floor. Can I get a drink of water please with some mint and lemon she asked smiling a little.
"Sure Gina" said Carter. He put some mint and lemon in a blue steel water bottle, shook it up, and handed it to her.
"Mmm" said Gina slowly. "Just what I needed. Well lets get going guys I don't want to be in here anymore I saw freaking ghosts floating around when I was paralyzed and let me tell you I can still see them."
"Without the glasses? Oh wow. Yeah we should go." Said Tim a little worried.
"No worries though they seem harmless but it's kind of weird cause they're staring at us."
"Let's get out of here now." Said Carter "While we are still living. I still have a taste for some burgers and fries."
"What about the box though? That seems to be something major that we stumbled upon" Said Tim.
"Just leave it here. We could put up a warning sign for others." Said Carter. "Let's go."
Carter began to walk towards the exit. Tim helped Gina up. She was a little wobbly legged and her stomach ached. She stared straight ahead, trying not to look at the ghosts that were watching them intently. They began to follow.
