How long have you been writing?
Unofficially, 9 years. Officially, six years.
Why did you start writing?
Well, when I was six, I decided to write a fanfic of my parents’ adventures in an MMO called World of Warcraft. Then there was a small lapse my writing and when I was nine, I just kinda suddenly had an idea and started writing. I've taken off from there.
Where does your inspiration come from?
EVERYWHERE. Literally. Poems are more based on personal information, though I can dabble in politics here and there for topics to write about. Everything I see has a giant WHAT IF label stuck to it... Not literally. Even songs stem ideas. For example, Vocaloid. Japanese synthesizer program. Makes a LOT of songs, all about different things. They had one about these two kids who brainwashed people with video games (Remote Control), another [series] about this house in the woods that has these people who follow a script every night and this girl finds the cabin and a page is missing from the play and time stops and so she kills the actors and time repeats in a loop (Bad End Night, Crazy Night, Twilight Night) [all three from different POVs]
Enough gushing though haha
Do you listen to music while writing? If so what do you listen to?
Yes. I almost NEVER write without music. I write better WITH it.
As for what I listen to... that depends.
For my novels, Clinker Girl and The Last Nephilim, I listen more to soundtracks. The Silent Hill OSTs, Peter Crowley... the Legend of Zelda OSTs, Skyrim music... movie soundtracks, etc.
As for everything else, I listen to whatever is on my tablet/music collection. Lately it's been Pierce the Veil and Panic! At The Disco. Their lyrics are AMAZING and really poetic and I get a lot of ideas from listening to them.
Oh and lately I've listened to Fall Out Boy. Because Fall Out Boy.
If you are not able to become a professional writer, what would be your next career choice?
That's hard to decide, though lately I'm dead-set on being in a rock band.... after I put my electric back together. Other ideas are video game designer (more writing mechanics... can't really draw to save my life), lawyer, or therapist/psychologist.
What is your favorite poem you’ve written so far? Why?
Eiiiiiiiiyiiiiyiiiiiiiii
Umm... Well "If Countries Were School Children" was kinda cool.
I don't have a favorite. I lapse between loving and hating every single piece.
What is your favorite book/poem on wattpad? Published book/poem?
On Wattpad: I'll have to say White Lies/Red Leather by help-me-think-of-one. White Lies was the first story I read on here and the story and its sequel really stuck with me.
A second favorite would be anything by -therapy ... out of thousands of people who entered the Wattpad Prize (including myself) she actually won. And she deserves it!
Close second for second favorite is Shutter by Anticlimactic. Isa is wonderful as both a writer and a person.
What other hobbies do you have?
Drawing horribly. Singing, voice acting, listening to music. Hanging out with my friends, especially my friend Joe. He's an amazing and has gone through so much.
And my friend Naota, who I have a crush on haha
Other hobbies! Um... video games. Lots and lots of video games. Watching anime. Watching movies. Watching band interviews. And something I picked up a year and a half ago, guitar playing. I have a gorgeous acoustic, Shadow, and an unnamed teal electric that needs just about every single part that makes an electric, besides the frame.
What’s your favorite color?
Blue. Because blue. And red. And black. And sometimes purple. You could never get me to like Brown, though.
Favorite animal?
This fluctuates between tiger, wolf, fenneck foxes, dolphins, and hedgehogs. I really want a hedgehog. I'd name it Mew and I'd carry her on my shoulder and yeah.
Favorite food?
Sushi. And other sea food. And pasta. But sushi is the best.
Favorite movie?
Sometimes it's Lilo and Stitch. Otherwise it's Nightmare Before Christmas. I love singing along.
You are stranded on an island and can only have two things with you, what are they?
I wish I could have three...
A pen. And... a lot of paper. Cause if I were stranded, I'd definitely write about it. And I could always get other things from the ocean. You know how much CRAP is in it nowadays? I could probably get a working lighter (melt sand) and enough metal to make a knife with what washes up.
