I run to my bathroom and grab Benadryl. I sit in the ground and start to cry. I put 3...6....8....
BAM!

The door busts open revealing Jack. "NO MAYA STOP!" He yells taking the pills away from me. "Giv-e them-m back you a-ssho-le..." I say nodding off. He forces my mouth open and sticks three fingers down my throat. All the pills I took are out at once. I sob uncontrollably and Jack carry's me to my bed. He lays me down and starts humming a soft tune in my ear. I eventually fall asleep.

I walk down the hallway and enter first hour. There he is. Jack Avery. He saved me. BUT I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO! I wanted to fucking die and he took that chance away from me. I was so....close. But he ruined it.

The bell rings and I go to first hour. I walk in with my head down and go and sit down. I put my head down as jack walks in.

Jacks POV;

I can't believe she actually did that. It's all my fault though. I told her to do that. Ugh! What's wrong with me?! Why am I like this?! I walk into first hour. There she is. The love of my life.... I go all the way to the back and sit down, not even caring about a single word the teacher is saying.

The bell rings and it's time to go home. I go to football practice and I see Maya. Wait she's a cheerleader?! Oh my god she looks hot doing those flips, and spl- "JACK!" I'm cut out of my thoughts when Jonah comes running up to me screaming my name. "Huh? Oh what's up?" I ask looking at Jonah. "We have to practice plays come on!" He says leaving. Maya does a round off backhand spring. Wow she's good..... she looks at me and looks down blushing. I get out of my trance and walk over to coach. "Thank you for joining us Avery!" He says making the guys laugh. I roll my eyes. We start practicing a Hail Mary. Basically you do a 180 turn and throw it to one of your players that is open. I do the 180 and as I'm about to throw, BOOM! I'm tackled. Jason Reed ran into me, causing me to land on my arm. "FUCK!" I yell as I land on the ground. The cheerleaders stop and run to get ice and water. Maya ran up to me and kneeled down. "Someone get me ice,and bandages!" She yells. Two cheerleaders got her the stuff she needed. "This might hurt..." She says taking my arm in her small hands. "Wha-" I'm cut off by her popping my elbow back into place. "OWWW!" I yell. She giggles and hands me an ice pack. "Let me bandage you up and then your good to go." She says smiling. She puts my bandage on and hands me the ice. "Thanks Maya...." I say looking down. "No problem. I have to go. Do you have a ride? Or are you walking?" She asks looking at me with concern. Why does she care for me when all I do is get her? I don't get it. "I'm gonna walk I guess..." I say. "I'm driving you home....get in." She says getting in her car.

We get to my house and she stops me. "Thanks for you know....saving me the other day...." she says rubbing her arm. "I should thank you too....and I'm sorry.....for everything. But I'm not sorry for this....." she looked at me confused. I kissed her. She kissed back.....❤️
