Moving In

( Your P.O.V. )

   I was startled awake by the bell. I checked my watch and it said 6 AM. I rubbed my eyes. I tried to sit up, but there was a strong grip around me. I opened my eyes more trying to get the sleepiness out of eyes. When my vision was cleared and no longer blurry I looked and saw arms wrapped around me. I looked up and saw Mike's face. His hat was covering his eyes and he looked to be asleep. I shook him a little and started whispering to wake him up.

   " Mike? Mike, you need to wake up. "

He groaned a little bit but didn't wake up.

   " Mike. It's 6. We need to leave. "

He shifted more and one of his arms moved up and he took his hat off his eyes. He opened his eyes and looked down at me. I blushed as his light blue eyes found my e/c eyes. He smirked and released me from his grip. I got up and stood by the door.

   " It's a few minutes past 6 we need to go. "

   " Alright. Let's go. "

He stood up and we both walked out of the door. I saw Vincent leaning against the door. I opened the door and he looked over and smirked at me.

   " Hey, Vincent sorry it took a few minutes. Here are the keys. "

   " Thanks, sweetcheeks. "

I handed him the keys, but as soon as he had the keys he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. He pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ear.

   " See you in the morning. "

   " Vincent let go. " 

   " But why~"

   " Let her go you a******. " 

Vincent glared at Mike and he let me go. 

   " Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow. "

I started walking away and I said bye to Mike before I left. I got in my car and started driving home. When I got home I walked to my room and took a shower. I walked back to the living room and turned the TV on. 

( Time Skip )

My phone started ringing. I recognized the number. It was Mike's. 

   " Hello? "

   " Hey, Y/n do you think I can stay at your place for a while? "

   " Why? What happened? "

   " My landlord moved my rent day without telling me and I don't have the money yet. "

   " Sure, I guess you can stay with me. "

   " Great! Thanks. Where do you live? "

I told him my address and hung up.  I waited for him to get here. In no time I heard my doorbell ring. I opened the front door to see Mike standing there in the rain. He was soaking wet.

   " Mike! Come inside and get out of the cold rain. "

He walked inside and took his shoes off.

   " Thanks again for letting me stay. "

   " Not a problem. The guest room is down the small hall to the left. "

   " Thanks. I think I'm just going to rest for the rest of the time. We do have to get up and go to work at 12. "

   " That was my plan too. So I'll see you at 11:30. "

   " Ya. Have a good rest. "

I walked upstairs and went into my room. I got a quick shower and went to sleep in my bed.

   ( Mike P.O.V. )

   " ACHOOO "

Dang it. I better not be getting sick. I don't want Y/n going on the night shift alone.
