I was born in a kingdom far, far, away I was separated from parents when I was only 3 years old, I was sold to a different kingdom then grew up there until I was 19, then I was bought into the Lee Kingdom. I'm only been here about 3 months and I notice the prince Hoseok staring at me at times from his balcony..
I was hard at work weeding the garden until the guards yelled "work faster!" and cracked their whips in the air like lightning & thunder.
Ugh why do I deserve this.. I thought. I kept at my work but weeding as fast as I could. I started to feel my fingers cramp up and turn red.
-A Couple Hours Later-
After completing my work in the fields I went back to my old run-down shack that somehow fused in the ground.
I had to share with 8 other people and the shack was very small. We had to take showers with a little bucket of water, and there was no privacy.
Our bed sheets were made of cloth that an old lady in our shack graciously made for us by knitting.
No one in the shack ever talked to me because they were all in there 40s and above I was the youngest in the shack.
I carefully walk into the shack and down the dirt pathway into the cramped room. I went in my bed and used my arm as a pillow.
The only thing I wore on my back was old overalls and a shirt that I've been wearing since I was 16.

The only thing we can eat is a slice of bread, but when some of us are in charge of harvesting crops we secretly eat some, but it's risky. If you get caught, you go to the wiping pole.
They strip you of your shirt and whip your back till it's covered in gashes and blood, this punishment also goes for anything else you do wrong.
I slowly closed my eyes afraid of what tomorrow could bring for me.
-Next Morning-
I slowly woke up to hearing the guards yelling at us to wake up. I quickly got up and ran out to work. Any of us that overslept would be beat with rocks for about 10 minutes to learn our lesson.
Today I was suppose to harvest the crops, vegetables, and fruits. As I was harvesting I saw prince Hoseok walking on the big rocky road as he was staring at all the slaves.
Our eyes met and he kept staring at me so I quickly looked down at the radishes I was picking out of the ground. I looked up a bit and saw him still staring at me.
Hoseok then smiled at me then he kept walking on. I wonder why he always stares at me.. I thought.
