~Olivia's Bullies Above~

"Olivia!" Someone slammed their hand on my desk, and I jumped and hit my knee.

I groaned and opened my eyes to see Mr. Keeth, and the whole class staring at me.

"Were you sleeping?" He asked me, but I was focused on the class.

"W-what? N-no," I answered lamely, that got a few chuckles and giggles from around the class.

He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, "Then why were your eyes closed?"

I gulped and was trying to look for words, but my throat went dry.

"Do you want me to call your parents?" He asked, which made flinch at the word.

"I don't have any parents," I muttered.

"What was that? Say it louder," he said and I think I saw amusement in his eyes.

"Nothing," I sighed and looked out the window. "Ms. Richard say it right now," he pressed which made me annoyed.

"I said it was nothing," I told him through gritted teeth, which only made him angry.

He rolled his eyes and continued the lesson, it was History right now and the guys are surrounding me.

They give me sympathetic looks than went back on their phones. That's right they don't listen, and I'm scared they're going to get caught one day.

I sighed and doodled things on my book, then after a while, the bell rang for the second period.

The four dimwits always left the classroom first, I was walking through the door when Mr. Keeth stopped me.

I turned and he wasn't even looking at me, he was marking something.

"Yes?" I asked nervously, see I'm not really nervous around Mr. Keeth since he's like a father to me.

We do get along and I have talked with him many times because I am always early to this class.

He stood up not making eye contact with me and pulled up a chair. I am guessing it's for me so I hesitantly made my way to him.

I sat down and so did he, but he still didn't make eye contact. Must be serious.

"What did you say today?" He asked not looking up. Not really expecting that to be honest.

I sighed, "What do you mean?" I asked dumbly. I swear I saw him clench his jaw, maybe I shouldn't have said that.

He finally looked up at me with his emerald eyes, "Don't act dumb Olivia, you know exactly what I mean."

I bit the inside of my lip, "Why is it so important?" I mumbled.

"Because I know what you said," he said looking down.

"Then why are you asking me?" I asked him, seriously this guy doesn't really make sense.

I saw a glint of sincerity in his eye, "Your brother Owen told me about them."

Wait what? My parents? How could he say such a thing, without even talking to me about it?

"Look before you get mad at him," he said standing up and started writing equations on the board, "he only did it for you. I got worried because you have been spacing out a lot in class," I mean it is true.

"So I went to meet him at the end of the day and asked him about you, but he hesitantly answered about your past. He didn't tell me a lot, just about your parents how they didn't do a good job." He sighed and looked back at me.
