Anne de la Cours was born in Bretagne, France, but left shortly after her birth to Paris, with her father who could not stand to be there due the loss of Victoire Anne's mother who had died giving birth to Anne. They settled in Paris, where they began to rebuild their lives, returning to the everyday routine.
One day Anne was going to buy some bread when she found a boy crying. She asked him what was wrong, he didn't really want to talk to her, but she made him. They talked for hours and they quickly became friends. Threw time they became quite close; his name was David.
Anne and David both believed that woman should be allowed to have an opinion and should participate in politics, but that was not the case at that time. Men believed that woman should be in the kitchen cooking or taking care of the children, but they were so wrong. Anne's father was one of those men, so when Anne turned sixteen he insisted she find a husband, to take care of her. He believed that she needed a man to take care of her and that she wasn't capable of taking care of herself. As we know by now Anne disagreed and left home. David was one of the few people who encouraged Anne to leave, he had been trying to get her to leave for so long, but she couldn't abandon her father, the man who had taken care of her after her mother's death. David had told her that they could buy a house to live together and they could even make Justine, Anne's best friend go with them, but Anne just didn't want to leave her father. When the day came, her father had hit her, because she refused to marry a man she did not love, she grabbed her things and left.
Heading to David, for them to live together with Justine, she no longer cared what her father had done, she was finished and, because David was finally old enough, he inherited his family's money, it wasn't much but it was enough and, to be presciently, they had succeeded in making Justine leave too, so they were finally going to be able to fight for what they believed in, they were finally going to be able to advocate for woman.
They traveled through France, trying to help as much and as many woman as they could. They would walk kilometres if necessary, they would  travel by small boats, big boats, they would ask help if they needed. It was quite an adventure for them. They didn't have that much money but they managed, because after something major, the woman they were trying to defend, since that was almost always the case, she would give them food, she would, sometimes, even give them a bit of money for them to continue their travels. They would talk to her for hours if they could, explaining what they were trying to do, the woman would be impressed with what they were doing, but the thing that mostly surprised woman would be David. They never thought that a man would do anything for woman as it benefited them most of all. The women would normally spared the word threw the village and, as they walked around, they would gain applauses by people, mostly women. Men would glare a them mostly David, but he didn't mind at all, he would just continue walking. The girls would also get attention from men, but not in a very good way. Bit by bit they were gaining more recognition trough France. They, were still trying their best to change the mentality of the population. France was in a dangerous state, in politics, economy and much more. Their King had abused his power in so many ways, so the country started to protest. Anne, David and Justine were willing to help, they thought that their King was a poor excuse for a King. France after all had had an outstanding number of good Kings. Louis VI was not quite right for the role as King and everyone knew that. This man that didn't have what it took to be King, had abused his power so much.
Anne had grown a lot after her travels with David and Justine, they all had. Anne's long red hair was beautiful, her green emerald eyes were outstanding, she wasn't that tall she was  and was absolutely gorgeous, men would fall at her feet. She was the woman every man would want except for her personality, her thinking, her temper. Justine on an other hand was taller, had dark brown hair, blue piercing eyes, an amazing sense of humour that made everyone laugh. She was extraordinary. David was very tall, he was about six feet nine, and very handsome, his hair was  black, his eyes light grey full of joy, he made the worst moments, the best. He was always there for them.
A short time after the French revolution rolled in and Anne, David and Justine, Anne's best friends all participated. Justine was the leader, she was a strong, devoted person. She was perfect for the job. She was always there, despite the controversy surrounding woman. She would always be in battle, helping in any way she could. David and Anne were surprised by Justine's courage and bravery. They never thought she would assume such a responsibility.
Anne and Justine had known each other for years, they were inseparable, they did every thing together since a very young age. They both had this huge feminist spirit, they always thought it was wrong for men to think that they were better.
As much as Anne's father loved her that wasn't enough for him to think that because she was a woman she should be inferior to him. Justine had this problem as well whit her father. They would talk for hours of this problem which made them who they were, this problem made them the strong, independent woman. Anne's father would bet her because she had forgotten to make his bed in the morning. Justine's father would do the same, that's way they were so close. Justine's mother was a very close friend of Anne's mother and when she died, Justine and her family followed them to the gloomy, horrific Paris. They  grew up in a place filled with people that didn't even treat a woman with at least a bit of respect for what she did. So since they were twelve they developed a humungous spirit and heart for feminism. When they saw a man treat badly a woman, they would go up to them and try to stop it. They shouted and even kicked. This would always get them in big trouble, but they would still do it even if it meant getting a punishment from there fathers and from the man they tried saving the woman from. They didn't care that was what they believed in and they were going to fight extremely hard to solve this issue. Every time this had happened, when it was over the woman would go up to them and thank them profusely for what they had tried to do, even if they had not achieved anything in particular .
One sunny, shiny day, the meeting that they had organised with countless other, in a small cave by the river, was interrupted by the Kings soldiers because they were fighting for rights for woman and for democracy. The Kings soldiers attacked them, they wore strong armour, they had big guns and had the element of surprise. They fought bravely for hours putting on a good defence, but had lost. Anne and David were the only ones left alive, but they didn't know that. While they were looking, if they could find someone alive, they found Justine, laid on the floor with a pool of blood underneath her, Justine's  eyes open with the last thing she saw: a boy. A soldier with a sword in his hand covered in blood, horrible blood with a look in his eyes of pure hatred towards Justine, as his sword penetrated her. He was ready to kill with no pity whom ever dared to oppose the King, "That poor boy" was Justine's last taught, she could see right threw him, she knew how bad this boy felt, she knew how his soul, his happiness, his love had been taken from him, she was so sure that he was innocent but he had no choice, he had been forced to do this, he had been forced to put on a hard shell around his mind, not to let anyone in, not feel pain, nor anger, nor sadness. He was forced to act like a monster.. His heart was trembling when they were told what they had to do. He wasn't a murderer. But what could he do, his King had just ordered him to kill whatever passed his way. He was, after all, only fifteen. He didn't know what was wrong, he was no longer feeling like he used to. His general, had after all said that once you kill your first person you would never feel the same. He had said that it was for the better. They shouldn't be feeling, pain for the person they killed, it was important that they not feel this, because normally in his eyes the person you kill, always deserved it. People, were never innocent, he knew that but he still believed that they should have the right to live.
Anne after seeing her best friend laying on the floor, she fell, distraught on to the floor cradling close her best friend, her sister, her Justine, the person she had spent her entire life with, the person that she knew would never abandon her, but here she was, holding her dead sister in her arms. Anne's shirt became red, it was no longer white but red, the colour of her best friends blood. She was crying like she had never done before. David tried to console her but failed. He was felling so miserable, he couldn't do anything to help his best friend. The person who, had helped him with everything, she had helped him deal with the loss of his father. The man he most admired. He, loved Justine, she was his sister, he cared about her so much. He couldn't imagine a world without her. Anne and Justine were the light of his day, the stars in his sky, they would always make him smile, laugh, joke, they would make him happy. He was broken in so many different ways. His father had died when he was young, his mother was a mess, she didn't know what to do after the love of her life had died. His childhood had been horrible until the day, he had meet Anne. She had taken him to her father, and had offered to help him, in anyway that they could. He had sworn to himself that he would repay them but after what her Father had said to Anne, he was going to repay only her. Anne had presented Justine to him, at the start they weren't the best of friends, he preferred to spend more time with Anne not Justine. But threw the years their relationship grew, they would spend hours, talking to her, Justine had become, his secret keeper, he would tell her everything, from the most embarrassing like when, he fancied a girl or when he had had weird dreams, she would also tell him everything, and when Justine got her first boyfriend, David had gone mad, he went straight to him and threatened him so bad, Justine and Anne had to drag, David away before he killed him. He was so protective of both of them but mostly of Justine. Everyone thought that he was in love with her, but they were wrong, he just cared about her very much, however, something deep inside of him he actually did love her. He just didn't want to admit it. After all, he didn't know how she felt about him. After years, he had finally built the courage to ask her what she thought. He was going to ask her when their meeting was over. David swallowed all of his pain, because he knew what Anne would be felling right now, he was going to repay her, for all of her help threw the years this was his opportunity to do it. So he did. He didn't say a word, he just sat there, with his arm around his best friend, trying his best to be strong, and not show weaknesses. But how could he not show even the faintest of feelings, he did after all love Justine for what she was; her personality, her happiness, her laughter... She was the woman that David had searched for so long. Minutes passed, they felt like hours and those felt like years to Anne and David, but they were not. She was filled with sadness. David sat next to her trying his very best, to not break down and to help his best friend and at the very least help her in anyway, because he knew that her sadness, her pain was the biggest thing in the room. Until suddenly Anne stopped crying. Her heart filled with rage, sadness and pain. She got up, placing the head of her best friend carefully on the floor. No longer feeling anything not even mercy but she did not care. Her soul had turned from peace to war, from white to black, from loving to horrible, from a small girl to a woman. David was surprised, he didn't think she would ever get up, and then asked:
-" Anne, are you alright?"
-" Yes, I'm fine, horribly sad but fine...Now I'm going to do what my dear Justine was so passionate about. I'm going to fight for what she believed in, something that should have been here much earlier. Rights for woman is something we should have without needing to ask, Justine knew that and that's why she was so passionate about this. Now I'm going to make that God damn horrible King pay for what he has done, I'm going to make him suffer. Because it's the right thing to do, for all French woman and even more so for Justine. So for Justine my best friend, that I love,...loved" Anne said with sadness spreading down her face, her eyes starting to turn black with hatred, she shed a few tears until she got her mind straight and continued saying:
-" So what do you think? Are you with me ?" She finally said after a few moments had passed.
David answered something short but full of power.
-" HELL YEAH" as he jumped of the floor to his feet.
-" Now lets make this horrible King pay for what he did to us and our dear Justine" said Anne with hatred coming out of her voice. She knew exactly what she wanted to do. She was not going to let this slip so easily, and she was sure that, her poor King was going to pay hard.
