I hate libraries.

There was nothing else to it. People always come to libraries because they can't focus without the silence, I avoid them because silence distracts me. If I'm in a room that's silent, I will start to fidget and make noises to cut the silence. My mind drifts too far into the nothingless I call my brain and I don't get any work done.

Evelyn drug me here with her because she didn't want to study for her exams alone, now I'm by myself because she snuck off with some guy I'd never seen before. Sometimes, she honestly got on my everlasting nerve, but she was my best and sometimes only friend so I let it slide because God knows I'm the same way.

I felt that presence again as I listened to my music. It was the strange presence I felt before he showed up. It was crazy, it was like I could sense him when he was near even if he didn't always come bother me. We'd gotten into an argument just days before and I told him I wanted him to stay away from me. He didn't, he just stayed a safe distance away. I couldn't always see him but I definitely sensed his presence.

"How's the studying?" His deep voice was a whisper against my ear as he sat down next to me. I just nodded my head and pretended he wasn't there, clearly he didn't like it. "I wouldn't recommend doing that if I were you."

I rolled my eyes, he was always threatening me and it was seriously annoying. "Why are you here?" I asked rudely. I didn't care if I was offending him, he got on my nerves and wouldn't go away.

"Because you missed me," he said with a smirk.

I glared at him, not even bothering to reply because in actuality, I kinda did. He got on my nerves everyday but when he wasn't, he was a great guy.

"Why are you even here?" I asked again once he just stared at me. He was doing it again, making me feel as if I were naked or he could see through my clothes. "Don't you have friends? Family? Go bother them."

"I would rather be entertained by you than them, kitten," he said as he moved closer. He pulled my book away from me and grabbed my arm before I could protest about my book and pulled me onto his lap. He kissed the back of my neck and pointed to my book. "Continue studying, baby."

I sighed before finishing. Finals were coming up soon and I wanted to be as prepared as I could possibly get. I didn't realize that I'd been studying so long until I fell backwards into his arms, going to sleep to the rhythm he was rubbing on my thigh through my two-toned gypsy skirt.

"I think it's time I take you home, kitten," he declared as he gathered my things and put them inside my Hello Kitty tote bag that I used for school. I didn't even bother protesting, I just let him pack it all up and carry me to his car.

I woke up in a now familiar bed that wasn't mine for the fifth or sixth time since being around him. I wasn't even going to let myself get mad about it, this was what he does when I am around him. I crawled out of the bed and began walking down the corridor after stepping out of his bedroom. I realized that I was barefoot, with nothing on besides a deep purple nightgown made of pure silk that swished around my feet every time I took a step. It was the prettiest one he's given me yet and it got me wondering if they belonged to someone else. Was I wearing another females clothes that belonged to him in some way?

There were dimly lit with candles in the hall just like last time. Being too curious, I began opening doors. Most of them were bedrooms, closets, or bathrooms. One room caught my eye though, it looked like an over sized music room -bigger than my apartment and then some- that had any and every instrument you could think of with a grand piano that was made of glass and diamonds. I walked to it and sat down on the white stool.

You could tell it hadn't been played or even cleaned for that matter in a long while because of the thick layer of dust that covered it. I found a nearby duster and cleaned it off before sitting back down and testing the keys. They worked! I didn't expect for it to play but it did.
